Kaitlyn lived in a village outside of Ul'dah with her father and 2 brothers. Her father was a fair and honest business man that had to travel to the city for work. Kaitlyn, being daddy’s little girl, often accompanied her father on these trips and fell in love with the grandeur of Ul'dah though it was her innocence that blinded her from the seedy underbelly of crime that the city attracted. On a trip they took when she was a bit older, she witnessed her father’s death at the hands of dirty businessmen. Ever since that day she had the unreasonable guilt that she should have been able to protect him. When she was finally old enough to go off on her own she began to train in the arts of the gladiator, the symbolic shield gave her comfort that she could live to protect those who lived an honest life like her father.
(A little dramatic I know but it’s just a start lol)

I deviated from the original in other games, hence the elf ears in Lineage 2 and PSO2. But I think it's pretty close to my original RO char ^_^
You can also probably tell that in those deviations they were more oriented around being a damage dealer than a tank. Hence why I felt like getting back to my original char with FFXIV. -

I know its greedy to ask for more, but is there any chance you might do a drawing of my friends character? We share the same account (coz we are cheapskates) so he couldn't actually log in and ask you himself.
His story is that he heard the Legends of the fallen Midgardsormr and he was journeying to find a way to bring it back to life.

Oh and if you do decide to draw him, could you do the drawing with him having a black eye patch over his Left eye (rather than the goggles pictured), as part of his characters story is that he keeps that eye covered.
