I AM so tired of doing HM titan ONLY to fail.

Titan has a very specific rotation and there a couple of websites that have the rotation written down.

I would say the following tho:

Do a couple of shout groups watch what peps do when you find some one that is good at dodging stuff either invite them to your linkshell or add them to your friend list

After you get a good amount of peps in your link shell and or friends list pull peps from there and form a group with them.

Stick with that group until you guys down it and wala you have a group that can kill Titan

You may need to do some pruning as you go. Some peps are unable to handle a landslide bomb combo in phase 5.

Get on some type of voice chat program be it skype, ventrillo, teamspeak3, mumble, or raid call. Pull up the website on your second screen with the Titan rotation or write it down then call it out during the fight. So if you have someone who lags and always gets hit by plumes if you have them start moving 2-3 seconds before the move goes out they will avoid it each and every time.

I would agree, but now days better off doing it with your own FC, since everyone wants a ezride and want people with the best gear and relics to run it with. Or make your own group and stuff.

OP you have more than enough gear to clear Titan HM dont cry about it, fiond a group on your own server.

Edit: ok not more than enough but sufficient. Either way make your own group.

Tired making my own group, even the people I invited that said "They could dodge" got hit by almost every landslide.

Edit: And yes, I do kinda have a right to cry, I've trying hard for weeks, I can be fully DL geared and still can't pass due to people still getting hit by landslide or weight.

Don't ask them if they can dodge.

Anyone with half a brain can lie about being able to dodge.

Ask them to tell you Titan's rotation. Or ask them to tell you HOW to avoid being hit.

Make sure their brains are working.

So far, I told them their placement of the fight, a lot of people are brain dead! They move outta weight only to go buddy buddy with someone else so when there's two weights next to each other, people run into them or can't get out, after that, most just leave.

Wow, even with a server pug, people are brain dead >.<;

And what is wrong with that? Relics are exactly what they're called, RELICS! You don't get the be a casual player and have the best gear in the game.

I'm not saying Titan is easy, and I know from personal experience just how frustrating it is to fail over and over. But it SHOULD be a plateau for a lot of "casual" players.

If you want relic weapons, then you better be prepared to do what needs to be done to earn them.

Regardless of if YOU are geared and know the fight, part of what makes this encounter so hard is that it requires 8 people to not mess up for 10~min. The chances of that happening in a Duty Finder pug are almost 0.

Titan is currently the plateau fight that separates a "casual" player from a "dedicated" player. Note I'm using the word dedicated, and not hardcore, because I believe the two are separate. The plateau between "dedicated" and "hardcore" is, IMO, Turn 2 of the Binding Coil, at the moment. As a result of this, I see nothing wrong with Titan being a hard fight, because what's the point of the Relic weapons if people get them for free?

As a plateau, Titan will weed out two categories of players (primarily): people who can't learn to avoid predictable mechanics on a fixed rotation (everything Titan does, no exceptions, can be predicted several moves in advance, so this applies to healers who need to pre-heal Tumults, everyone who needs to avoid Bombs, Weights and Landslides, and tanks who need to cycle cooldowns for Mountain Buster), and people who can't put minimal effort into their gear (AK gear w/ primal weapon & a little bit of DL, at least).

Turn 2, as a plateau, further weeds out players who can't follow instructions (the Allagan Rot is basically an execution check; everyone is allowed to mess up a couple of times, after all we're human, but it WILL weed out people who mess up all the time and can't follow instructions like passing the rot around), players who can't react to mechanics (silence High Voltage), healers who can't keep track of two tanks, tanks who can't work together (taunt swapping, positioning), and whoever slipped past Titan who still can't dodge big red circles of death.

One could argue that Turn 4 is another plateau, because it's a hard DPS check; either your DPS can churn out a minimum number, either you wipe on the waves.

Yea I give up too, it's hard enough for me to find a group for it as a Paladin let alone a group that people can't dodge who just blame it on "lag".

Can only agree. There is one positive to the duty finder. As a while it makes the server better players.
