Most of the video tech support problems are one of the following

- unsupported video hardware
- extremely underpowered video hardware and user is complaining about bad performance
- Overclocked their card too much
- Don't have good enough PSU for the video card / improperly configured settings / some other user error
- bad driver installed

None of these problems would be SE's fault. No game can make your card melt, only your configuration or lack of maintenance can. Even in 1.0 when it had no frame limiter, your card can't go over 100% load, and if your card can't handle being at 100% load there is a problem with your setup or you aren't maintaining your PC (blowing the dust out).

This seems to be a place that people mess up when building. People seem to think bigger numbers is better and unless you are planing on going crossfire or sli you do not require a 750 or 800 or 1200 PSU. This is one part that quality matters, people need to some research on their PSU as a junk PSU can cause all kinds of wanky problems from restart to card damage etc. You especially need to be wary if you are buying a prebuilt pc too.

Example my wifes pc that I builts uses a http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16817151121 with a gtx 760 and no problems
