that would be nice. and even better that in order to mark the ground, you need dye. that will open a new market to dye.

Agreed with entire list. Especially dismount on cast.
I need to be able to shrink my UI down further, the 'small' setting still obscure too much of my screen, even at 1600x900.
I also want to be able to remove or minimize my quest tracker.
I don't need the game reminding me to pick up flowers for a botany leve, while Titan is tossing me around.
Can we please get to where we can stash our holiday gear in our Armoire? They are taking up loads of space! (Artifact gear too)
A bunch of special event gear was added to the Armoire list in yesterday's update (the rest of the summer festival swimsuits, halloween costumes, Lightning Returns event gear). Are there particular items that still aren't?
I wish they'd make a rule for themselves that adding event items to the armoire should be done as part of adding the items themselves rather than something they do a few months later, but I think they're caught up at the moment.
Would be nice if when I threw a snowball at Eos she would throw one back.
So we can finally sort our inventory, which is quite nice. How about we get the auto-sort back now so it doesnt stack items into the first tab instead of the tabs we have sort marked to put them in?
(and while Devs are at it, give back old Sheathe option, instead of the game warping my weapon back to sheathe position immediately after using a skill, looks really funny holding your hand up like theres a book in it when the book has just warped back to your hip and ignored your 3s auto-sheathe setting)
I really.. only want the new /doze to apply to all beds - and chat bubbles that can be turned off and on.
Would be nice if we could customize the "Recommended" menu. We don't really need to be reminded every time we zone that we can do every single duty in our DF list.
I'd like to be able to display only hunting log and quests for my current area, for instance.
Would you please allow us to use the /tell and linkshell chat during dungeons and PvP. It didn't bother me very much before, but now I can't even talk in my linkshell during PvP. It's just an annoyance now.
Atleast give us the option to.
Would it be at all possible for Timeworn Maps to be either be something we can store in the Free Company Chest, and/or stackable? Given the 18 hour recast time on obtaining them, I've taken to gathering a few before burning through them all as a Free Company event (for Gil/something different to do), but since they cannot be stored in the Company Chest and don't stack it's a bit problematic carrying them all... I can't really see much point in them being Unique...
This, I highly support. I am very tired myself of the blind FC invites, often sent without any tell prior asking my opinion. I don't want to join an FC without knowing the people in there first. I want to play, meet people, and if I like their personality and ideas, maybe I'll ask if I can join their group, or maybe make my own, who knows. I don't really like the idea of joining a Company that blindly invites people, not making sure their recruits are not cheaters or potential douchebags. Membership with a company should be something you earn, and a good company leader should want quality players over quantity. Or that's how it works IRL.
Please, stop sending me those blind FC invites.
As a healer in CT, I have to do a lot of guess work as to if the targets I'm trying to heal is close to me or not, especially outside of party. I use mouseover macros, so while the red MP is nice if I have someone targeted, I have to do some really quick glancing during moments where a heal is immediately needed.
I wonder if it would be possible to have some sort of UI option to fade out or change the colors of party member list/outside alliance HP meters for any person who is outside the range of a set number of yalms. Even better if it could be set by the player like 30y for heals, 10y for cover, and so on. Would be great for PvP as well.
Couple things that annoyed me after 2.1's update. :(
1- When I DC inside a dungeon I get a 30 minute penalty on the DF . I know people can fake d/c, but there are people who actually DC. I know there's enough time to return inside, but for example inside the Wolves' Den the whole battle is 2 minutes long, when I return I'm already outside and counted as if I left the instance, so maybe cancel this penalty for Wolves' Den only?
2- So far, I've seen 2 loots get lost inside CT, everyone passed on it so they don't get the "You can't get need/greed anymore this week." because they desire another item more than this one. In my opinion auto-loot shouldn't be counted as a need/greed, otherwise dozen of loots will be wasted, and this is really frustrating .
Please create more higher level gear for the gathering classes then just item level 55 and give back the gathering stat on some of the gear you guys took off.
Please create more/better item level 55+ accessories that are for all disciples of war/magic/hand/land that crafters can make.
Please give us a tackle box that holds all of the different bait instead of them taking up inventory space.
Please give us players and our retainer a separate inventory that just holds all of the different materia.
Not a huge deal yet but I see it coming:
Please look into increasing the amount of slots in the armory chest. With pvp gear now, it means we can have two sets of gear for each job, making some gear overflow into our inventory.
Hero's gear and other items purchased with tomes of myth should have the blue background. It just doesn't make sense that DL accessories have blue background where the myth belt has green. Just visually confusing. I'm sure lower priority than other minor fixes :)
Is there any words of having a tool tip link available on chat?
Allow us to have a chat background transparency slider. Half the time I cannot even read the chat text unless the chatbar is placed on a dark rock.
Can we get a change in nameplate color for dead non-party PCs, or an icon to indicate they're dead, or something to differentiate the living from the dead? During and after a FATE I can't tell the difference between a PC at full health and one that's dead until everyone is gone and not blocking the view of the bodies. Preferably something that also tells me at a distance where a body is so that when someone requests a raise I can tell whether they're lying on the hill or it's just a living PC behind it.
Didn't see this on OP:s list but it would be extremely usefull to have Ready/Raid Check like function where you get popup window with Y/N buttons to tell others if you are ready to go or not, specially now that we have CT with 24 peoples. Having easier way to check if all alliances/party members are ready instead asking in chat(most times only few peoples responds to that)would be awesome.
I'd love if dead players would be easier to find on the screen. Either make their empty HP pool stand out in the screen (instead of there being no HP pool shown at all, making them look like just players with 100% HP), or make their names red, or give an icon next to their name. Even easier, it'd be if you could right-click the name of someone who spoke in the chatlog and target them (provided that they are within range). I always try to give raises during FATEs if I see someone asking for it in /say, but with the cluster*uck of names, effects and HP pools everywhere, I always struggle to find them before they HP.
I have a UI idea!
How hard would it be to make a "Favorite" list for recipes? We can choose like 10 favorites that go into the favorite tab. This way we don't have to fish around our lists looking for the specific recipe we want. It would be useful when doing crafting leves. Just favorite the leve items and there ya go. It streamlines the process!
i think somehow they should implement relic weapon bosses into duty finder cause not every1 can play in peak times etc etc n hard to find a party for certain parts of the relic weapon quests... even if u made it into some kind of trial type battle ;/
I would really love to see more things for the solo level 50 to do, more along the lines of solo leve's to get craftign materials, crafting classes that make weapon, armor to make non-stat items but unique looks via various materials accrued via gathering for the eventual induction of the vanity character customization.
A lot of my friends who play would actually play more if there was more things for them to do solo to pass the time as they wait for people to log on to play with. Right now they won't re-sub because they don't want to run 8 man content, don't want to grind for tomes and don't want to fate grind. I have listened to them though say how much fun they have just mindlessly acquiring armor, etc in that "other" game just for customizing their looks. To go out on a further limb to make a characterization system more in depth than any other game currently on the market would be a brilliant idea and they would play more often.
Trade in for myth items.
Not sure if this was mentioned, but it would be really good for the teleport option to not automatically cancel out if someone in your party is sitting or still on a mount. It's just really annoying if you didn't get off your mount in time not knowing that a party member used teleport and you automatically get rejected from it. It should give you the option to use it AFTER you dismount instead of losing it. Please fix this, it's broke.
Be good if you could right-click on an item in your Retainer or Inventory and the option come up to move to Page Number X. At the moment, non-controller users have to pick up the item, click on the bag number with it and click on the space you want to move it to. I can't count the number of times I've slightly missed the Page Number (as the item icon is larger than the page number click-zones) or the space I'm aiming for (because I'm malcoordinated) and the item zooms back to where it came from.
This is a minor thing but still annoys me. When having an event like say the starlight celebration, at the vendors when buying things like the food items it would be nice to be able to change the amount you want rather than having to buy each one separately.
Possible to get timers added to the Timers Interface showing the time remaining until Daily and Weekly Resets?
Please allow our chocobo companion to benefit from our rested xp as well.
Under the category of "Quality of Life" I'd like to add:
The /hood command.
which would raise/lower your Hood on a Cowl robe. also, then you can let us wear head items with a Cowl.
sorry if it has been mentioned already, but so far in 30 levels of Arcanist, pretty much every single major Chest upgrade I've ever gotten from anything (quest, dungeon, etc.) has been a Cowl Robe, which detracts from my Studious Look, because I can't wear my Glasses.
I don't know if this was mentioned but:
-Increase the GP recovery rate by /sit<ing>
-Add a visible timer for treasure hunts.
Remember at the end of 1.0, when we had server messages telling us Ul'dah, Gridania, and Limsa were under siege by enemies? Can we get that for when Odin and Brohemoth pop?
If at all possible, SE.
Could you add a penalty to the Vote Kick feature?
I mean there are different reasons for people being kicked and they all shouldn't carry the same penalty but if one player is harassing others and he/she gets kicked, I think they should be punished for it.
It would be nice to have an option to group our craft recipes by alphabetical or category, similar to grouping by recipe level. It would be an added convenience for when I can't think of the level of the desired recipe off the top of my head, and would like to avoid searching.
I also would like for the chosen hq ingredients not to be reset every time I finish a synth. If I want to use the same number of hq items for consecutive synths, I'd rather not have to reset the hqs every time. Less clicks makes for a much more streamlined crafting process.
I was just about to suggest the same thing. While making a whole bunch of frumenty yesterday, it got really annoying to have to every time go back and say I want the same HQ ingredients I used last time. Whenever we're making the same recipe repeatedly, it would be so much easier if it would default to whatever we used last time rather than always defaulting to all NQ ingredients. (It could reset to its usual NQ defaults whenever we close the crafting window or change recipes.)
In the gathering log, let us filter by region, so for instance we could look at what all can be gathered in La Nosca. This would make it easier when we want to finish gathering everything we want from there before traveling to the next region.
