If i remember right, you only participated officially in the preliminary rounds so yes you are eligible to try for cycle 3
and yes you should try out. you had some really strong shots before you dropped out

Everyone's submissions are pushing my excitement and urge-to-audition levels over 9000 but I think I'm gonna hold off entering this cycle after all. I've got a lot of stuff to take care of irl before I can reasonably commit to something like this, which I would want to dedicate a lot of time to.

I'm so excited to follow along from the beginning, though!

Hahaha, we all brought our dogs to the beach and Jayzan brought his...kitties. Lol.

It's such a fun shot! I didn't even realize we could use other people in our shots outside of the date and action rounds. That was good planning for sure.

Argh, this round was horrible.... for the fact I had to choose 2 not 3.....curses....

Tbh, there was only 1 winner for me this round...but um....dog wasn't the contestant sooo....I picked 2 of the models instead...

Oh and something that Tinsley said a few post up....Why not do a round of "who wore it better" ??
could do a guy and a girl separate shoot for that one?? Because guys look funny in skirts unless its a kilt....

Wasn't the rule needing 20 posts to be counted for a vote? I don't see that anymore on the main announcement, anyway the tally is different for the last round if its less than 20 aren't counted.

Oh geeze, I knew it was gonna be close Tinsley, but I went to bed early cause it was stressing me out and I didn't wanna count the minutes down as it was happening >.< I love your first free-style shot a lot. Such a badass close-up shot. I would have never thought of using the barrier as a background, but it turned out awesome! Makes me one wanna try one too.

I cannot believe this 2.5 month journey is coming to close. Going through those portfolio's is so nostalgic. I remember so many awesome memorable shots. Ronberku's Library one, Yunie and Kaelah's Snow shots, Yuni and Jayzans Hullbreakers, Kin's NPC one, Kurri's rain shot, Vahn's waterfall, Ciara's chocobo, etc etc. I wish it was possible to have some sort of cross-server reunion and drink and reminisce.

I think win or lose, I'm most proud of the growth I made (and others noticably too!). I think conceptually about screenshots so differently now than I do before. Angles, colors, lights...there's a lot to it. Especially coming from someone who doesn't consider himself very artistic, it's been an awesome exploration. I think my favorite shot I took this season was probably the crystal one. Finally, Tri-Disaster had a use. lol

I did wanna give Yuni a quick shout-out though for completely getting my overly complicated backstory for this shot though O_O Holy shiz girl, you nailed it.
After submitting it I figured most people would probably figure it (deservedly) a crying-in-the-rain shot. But I figured the location around Gridania and wearing the Pilgrim's robe in my head might make some allusions to Edda. Watch out for Tam-Tara Extreme!

I really wanted to make my action shot in the previous rounds revolve around that fight, but the lighting was poor and it was crazy busy to try to heal and take photos.

Yah, the butterflies in my tummy were real this time around waiting to see which of us made it through but, it would have been a crime if you weren't in the top 3. :) I'm rooting for ya. yes i know i voted for jayzan but i love maxwell just as much

thank you for the compliment on that shot. I love how it turned out, I know it's dark but to me it has a "graphic novel" feel to it coloring wise. It was an afterthought honestly as i never even considered taking a shot there but did just for giggles to see the effect and it turned out really well
