I love the new mounted box shelf but would you mind rotating it a bit so we can have a vertical version as well?

I would love it if we could set the placeable food items as to who can use them.
I had gotten my apartment mostly furnished and had some friends over, so I bought one from the lobby vendor.
Turns out, I was the only one who could use it. :/

I was roaming in the carpenter's guild, and spotted those 2 furnitures displayed : I love the wooden design on the cupboard door, and the second would make a really nice jewel box, scaled slightly smaller...
I feel there's a lot of furnishings already in game that would make nice additions to housing possibilities !
A cauldron. Please give us a cauldron.
We have the craft stations, ans we have the merchant house glamour. I'd like to see more furnishing related to crafts, so one can decorate his/her house just like a workshop.
Imagine, a clothcrafter could add yarns, fabrics, mannequins, just like what you can see in the market districts. Cookers would have various bags of flour or fruits/vegetables, cooking pots, etc...
Some banners with the crats emblem would be nice too
Sorry if already mentioned, but I'd like it if we can get the chair that Scathach is sitting on at the start of the fight with her as a furniture for our house.
Thanks :)
How about food platters.
Can be crafted by Goldsmith based on the material. The food platter can be any food you personally crafted (or bought too I guess), and served on a platter.
Bronze (small bronze plate in design): 3 servings
Silver (slightly more ornate square design): 5 servings
Gold (larger, oval shaped platter): 10 servings
That way GSM and CUL get some usage, and you can finally serve food to guests instead of it just sitting there unused. Once the food is consumed, I'm thinking either letting the platter sit as plain furniture or for added flair, a "dirty" status the same way chocobo stables work. Weaver can craft a simple rag (Cotton Rag perhaps) to be used and cause the platter to be re-usable again.
And the point of my suggestion is to be able to serve guests (to which I mentioned and sorry if it was not clear) that aren't apart of your FC ect. Normal food like the Roasted Dodo can stay as such, but if I want to serve house guests a platter of chocolates, they can eat the chocolate.
I love the Expanded Duties Permit for Retainers, and our ability to pose them, but could you please add sit poses? My retainer looks a little silly standing on this mat made for sitting!

I can't read 154 pages to find out if this has already been said, but it would be nice to be able to allow people to enter your apartment without just leaving the door unlocked for any random stranger to wander in. In real life, if you want a friend or family member to be allowed into your apartment, you give them a spare key. It could go in their inventory with other items that aren't regular items, like mark bills and quest items.
I know people can't take things or move stuff around, but even if stuff in my irl house was bolted down I still wouldn't want someone just walking in and being in my private space when I'm not there.
In real life if I stood on top of a camp fire I'd have very burnt feet but unfortunately no PvE fire damage. I get where you're coming from, but I feel like this is also purely situational since there are some cities/towns/villages where people plain don't lock their doors. I'm not disagreeing with you either. I wouldn't use it, but I know people would.
I'm not saying tenants, I'm saying people I permit to come in can without me toggling allowing guests, having them come in, then turning it off. They can't add, remove, or move stuff, or do anything of the owner things, but they can come in because they're allowed to. Giving my friend a spare key to my apartment isn't me saying they can live there. It means I don't always have to let them in.
My point was that it makes no sense to have an all or nothing guest system for apartments. I mean haven't they at least heard of buzzing people in?
Though on another note, it's pretty dumb that my in-game spouse doesn't own/rent the apartment with me.
We already have aditionnal wall to craft, we need additional floor and staircase !
Especially in appartement, it would allow us to create mezzanine

Absolutely correct. There is a series of options with checkboxes, allowing you to control tenant access to everything from furnishings, to chocobo stabling, to gardening. Doesn't do anything for apartment owners at the moment, but it could be implemented for them (and should).
I don't know if it has been mentioned or asked for, but what about housing skins on the Mogstation? I know there is a lot of hate for stuff in the mogshop but personally I would like to see some mogshop exclusive housing skins, or more customization skins that are available there. The glam skins now are made through the workshop and are extremely expensive on the MB.
I would at no point in time like to see anything like that (I'm apposed to exclusives in the mogstation). They're expensive on the mb because they're expensive and time consuming to make. You could always join a fc with a workshop and grind through the process of gathering the items yourself or even gather up the materials and request usage of someone's workshop to make the item. A lot of fcs aren't constantly using the bubble, you just have to be prepared ahead of time.

Just stop.
Can we have Ceiling Light Fixtures not be one-time-use, please? ;w;
boardable FC submarines, and airships(or like FF5. airship/boat/submarines
On top of disagreeing with adding more mogstation-exclusive housing item, I actually think the existing housing item currently on mogstation should be change from selling "individual" pieces of furniture to "enabling" the player to purchase said furniture (in any amount) using gil from a special NPC once they made the purchase. Kind of like how we can repurchase certain achievement equipment from the savager NPC, but using cash to unlock it instead.
Because seriously, $5 USD for a single chair? The hell? And don't even get me started on the single-use item like seasonal wallpaper and food furniture items...
Pasted from thread:
Chances are someone already made these suggestions. If not, welp, here ya go~
Glade doors please.
Mahogany door matches the Riviera interior and looks utterly grotesque in any other house with any other wall/partition combination.
Please give us a door partition that fits the GLADE- Lavender beds interior.
This has probably already been suggested, This is probably one of the most sought after housing items right now. Please 'Like' this.
PLEASE GIVE US GLADE DOORS.
I hate columns! Plz, allow players the option to have flat walls!
Edit: Oh. And can we please get a stuffed leach king with a little crown? That would be so cute! And, more bed and bathtub varieties for apartments and small to medium houses.
Can we get a proper stepping ladder/platform to let us walk up the troupe stages?
An FC mate of mine would like to have the crystal trees you find in PotD as indoor furniture or as a wallmount:

Yes! I have recently realized that I never change my wallpapers due to the glaring contrast of the wooden support pillars built into the walls. I would love to make them invisible.
I would love to have a single person bathtub with suds inside, maybe with bubbles flying up in the air too. I think that would be cute. :)
Carbuncle/Egi/Fairies themed bed please! I have all of the rest of the summons furniture and this piece is noticeably absent.
On behalf of players who weren't around for the Little Ladies' Day event back in 2015, please bring back the Eastern Cherry Trees. Whether it be through this year's Little Ladies' event, or through the Mogstation, please bring it back.
It is such a pretty tree and it's saddening that some of us can't get it because it's being sold for millions upon millions of gil.
And to those who whine about it losing it's exclusivity, who are also probably the ones selling it for 20+ mil: stop. Paying more for a tree than an actual house/plot is absolutely absurd.
Also I have a little pet peeve with a piece of furniture; why can't we put Lalafell merchants on the Lalafellin Step Stool? Like that makes no sense lol.
Can we get the furniture from Fortemps Manor please?
Also adding this screenshot I found. From now on I will begin screenshotting furnitures I see that I think should be avable to players and posting here periodically.

I would like an indoor decorative arch. Something a bit like the gateways are. Or a partition that has an open through way instead of a door. Or both lol
