I remember the original design, though - it wasn't feminine. It simply showed off the guy's physique. Which isn't all that unusual for 'fighter' types to do. Historically, many societies based around combat have done just that. -

It's Mobius Final Fantasy. Apparently it was "too sexy" according to player feedback.
But it became an alternate costume plus there's some other skin-tight and/or revealing outfits in the game. -
