Kk, I also planted a Shroud Tea + Jute garden this morning.

I found another combination for Thavnairian Onion:

Mimett Gourd + Glazenut = Thavnairian Onion

So once one of my plants is ready to be harvested even if it's before the others are ready I can harvest it right w/o any worry of messing up the end results while I'm intercrossing seeds right? The results are determined once you plant the seeds. Just wanted to be sure as a FC member keeps saying otherwise and the doubt was creeping in.

I probably had one of the worse crops yet xbreeding with the lone exception of a mimett gourd seed tonight. So many members using up our 2 patches. Bring on personal gardening!

I just wanted to add an update to this, the 4 Chamomile in this plot were planted with G3 Thanalan soil and gave me 1 Pearl Ginger and 2 Curiel root (the one that didn't give anything was the first one planted while there was nothing else next to it). I've always figured that plants only took their own soil into account so this might be an indication to support that since the two that gave curiel did not give anything more than 1. If anyone is willing they can try using G3 Shroud on the plants supporting the Krakka to see if they also produce 9 seeds.

Would anyone be able to answer some questions I have about Thavnarian Onions for those that have been able to produce them?

• How exactly does it work? Does eating one allow your chocobo to go past the current level cap and gain XP normally or is it the only food that gives XP once it's capped?
• How many onions are produced per plant?

A case of bad luck?
I got 4 midland cabbage seeds from Krakka + D. Tomatoes. :/ Only the 4 krakka were harvested thus far since they were ready.
