I wouldn't bet on anything. Yoshi P already proved he doesn't care about anything else than $ (people won't stop playing because of one broken job, so why bother fixing it), but it doesn't mean i'm going to give up.
We can utilize Twitch chat during live letter, but in a civilized manner.

This is like male viera, or a monk rework, not gonna happen, they don't care so they will continue to ignore us. Best thing we can do is move on.

Yoshi exactly expects that. I'm not going anywhere. He knows he can do nothing because people won't fight for it. I will not let him forget about it.

Exactly this. I just sent in another suggestion since I saw the live letter, also detailing how people are using third party programs/mods to change the sound effects for specifically this job. I don't think I've heard anyone else use mods to change their job's sound effects but GNB. If they're gonna bring up 3rd party program usage and take action, then this needs to be under consideration too because people can't stand this wet noodle of a weapon enough, they WILL resort to this method.

well, GNB sounds problem can still be fixed independent of having a oficial response on the LL so there is still a chance for it but i agree, we shouldn't give up just bcs SE want us to by playing the ignore card.

Patch 5.2 is coming next week. Will we be getting the old gunbreaker sfx back or will it stay the same? If it does not i might have to resort to other means of fixing this annoying issue...

I still bet that devs have one strategy - ignore the problems and hope that people forget. Problem is some issues are too big to be forgotten.
I really wish that more people would be more vocal. Devs seem to not care about feedback, so we need different methods to persuade them instead of just posting on official forum and sending in-game suggestions.

I too hope 5.2 will be the revert. It's been 7 months roughly since they changed them and I still can't stand the current sounds. I still miss the old ones.

Plus the 377 replies in this thread alone plus all the other feedback (ingame etc) others do too.

I just hope it will be good news come Tuesday when the patch notes go up....

preliminary patch notes are up and i didn't see anything about GNB sounds, ugh another few months with this horrible sound desing.
