I was 1.2k yesterday.
Login: 4:30ish.
Got in: 7:24PM.

You would think it would of been less, and I was happy, until I was in a stand still in several numbers for 30 mins at a time.
They just need to do this for a little bit, maybe it'll even out
itself for now. At least everyone can damn play the game now.
It took 2 weeks but now I can enjoy the game without being straight up tired
and tryna wake up early to play even a little until after work at night.

Well it already working from what I can see, logged into balmung at 5:30pm and was able to get in right away

4:30 CST queue <20
Pretty extreme measure, but at least it was effective.

What is the point of that, why log in just to afk? Since they really not afk if they able to log back in right away.

Because they are able to remotely log in to their devices and log into the game.

I will file them in the scum pile, as this mass logout from what I have seen and heard from my FC members is already working so the players that AFK are the problem.

The reset happened right as my bf was trying to log in after work. We just transferred from Balmung to Cactaur. He was 429 and I was 309 logging in five minutes later. Our queues lasted about three minutes each. If this succeeds in helping others get in and play, it's not a big deal imho.

Amazing how much complaining there is about 10 minute downtime to attempt to solve the problem where people are waiting for > 2k people queues due to people abusing the system to stay online permanently preventing others from logging on

Exactly this. My friend got home from work at 9pm, sit down then suddenly notification pop. 1 hour to NOT DO ANYTHING.
And now he has to get on at 10pm and go to bed at 3am (instead of 1am) because our usual static have to suspend activities for 2 hours.
