I really love the design of the raid myself. It looks awesome, the boss mechanics are cool and fun and they look nice too. But yeah the gear sets are shite (aesthetically speaking).

The pictures are severely undermining the actual details. it's a lot better than those muddied colors would lead you to believe,

Gear is a little boring, but the mechanics were fun

I'm kinda speechless...in a negative way tho. The mechanics are fun but the raid itself is just kinda "Straight forward".

So Ivalice is actually literally canon in FFXIV then? I still don't understand. No one ever implies that Dalmasca was never part of Hydaelyn ever regardless of anything that's mentioned about it.

And I fully admit to maybe going too fast through the story-part of it... I wanted to fight the fight! :D

But I think they're saying that

Ivalice was an "ancient civilization" (basically) to what is now Eorzea.

Or something like that?
