I'm referring to Steam reviews, which should be obvious from the context given the entire last page of this thread is about Steam reviews.
2540 positive vs 2248 negative reviews

Goalpost has finally moved from "this is critically acclaimed" to "53% of people are OK with this!!"
52% of people enjoying a game is generally not something you brag about when said game is an expansion as part of a game that has been running for over a decade.
Forspoken has 64% for positive reviews.
Do with that what you will.
The majority of steam reviews liked the game. Sorry but that's just a fact. It doesn't vibe with the Dawntrail haters narrative but if you think these Steam reviews are at all valuable as a weather vane you need to be able to accept this as true.
So 4,788 reviews total, giving it a score of 2540/4788, which is about 53%
I don't think this is the Win you think it is, thats a failing grade no matter what metric you use.
Funny enough 5.3 is the exact rating it has on Metacritic right now, so that just goes further into validating Steam Charts as a real sample size.
Not even steam itself dares to say that, you need a 70% or higher to be considered "mostly positive" because the people who dislike the game are more likely to leave in apathy than leave a review. Quoting CBU3 itself "a complaint is worth twice a compliment".
53% positive on Steam is below failures like Forspoken (64%), Suicide Squad KTJL (63%) or Dragon Age the Veilguard (69%)
Guys don't be mean and ignore that 3%, it's all she has :(
