I would still try to clear turn 9 because 3.0 isn't going to have a ton of endgame. Going back to final coil and learning beating those turns will be a good option for those not in a Alex HM static yet, since coil will be in duty finder.

DF has not been kind with my T9 attempts, sooooo yeah i can't even get into the Final coil as much as i would like too :(
Lol no wonder my server on rank 42. Rarely people doing coil on PF including me and the low population.

Maybe if there was an actual goal or something besides just generic gear that is 1% better. Of course I'm pretty much: "No huge upgrades? No fun items?" Not worth my time.
Despite it's RP stereotype, Balmung ranks pretty high (one of the top 5?) on the list of FBoC clears in NA servers.
Afterall, not everyone in Balmung is an RPer
You mean the goal of completing the most interesting storyline in the game, which the dev team spent millions of dollars making amazing and exclusive cutscenes for, before 3.0? Don't people usually play Final Fantasy games for the story? That seems like a pretty huge motivating factor to me.
Also, 'generic' gear that, according to the census, only 2-5% of the NA/EU population is wearing? If that gear is generic, what does it make the stuff you wear that literally every level 50 character has easy access to? Are you only calling it generic to delegitimize it because you don't have it and don't want others to feel special for having it? (And BiS is worth a lot more than 1%- I'm not sure why this common logical fallacy still persists to this day. Do you even numbers bro?)
The bottom line is, if it really is just a matter of you not having or wanting to spend the time acquiring it, that's fine and understandable, no one can hold that against you and you could leave it at that. But you're attacking it and the achievement others feel by obtaining it. What's the point of that?
First of all, the entire country of Japan is in one timezone, whereas we suffer a 4 - 5 hour tz difference which makes it horribly difficult to get a static together.
Secondly, idk but it seems Japanese people are simply raised to be more patient and persistent. North American culture is all 'rush, rush, rush.' Hell my 3 friends and I couldn't get a static going on Sarg after 3 months of trying. Still stuck on T5 trying to do it the PUG way /sigh...I am so bloody sick of DF groups that ragequit after one try
First I'll say thanks to you for helping others clear it. BUT your experience differs vastly from mine. HALF the full parties I get in DF for T5 immediately lose 2-3 people as soon as the 'bonus sol' message appears. Two or three more fall apart before anyone even leaves the entry pad because gear/Lodestone inspections show no prior clear or less than full augmented ironworks gear.
I'd love to do coils...if I was bloody well allowed to.
>People in NA are bad ( Bad no, just Lazy )
>Some people can't raid because require's static and people have no time for (This and because you´ve to watch videos, read guides , etc you cant just go and learn it because the mechanics are confused as hell.)
Basically because our community, they expect to do T5-T9 on first try, 1 wipe = everyone QQ RQ and leaves (this happen even more with PF than DF) also people calling/Trolling new players because they fail and then kicking them out of the party without even explaining what were their mistake.
