Housing Ideas and Feature Requests

Custom house music would be pretty amazing. Hearing the same day/night loop of music endlessly, no matter what housing area you're in, is a little tiring after a while - let us pick up some game BGM and set it! Maybe via a small radio-type furnishing (in-lore, functioning with linkpearl technology?) that can be interacted with, bringing up a music selection window, updated as you purchase music from an ingame vendor? Or a different radio for each bgm, but that seems much more labor-intensive. Even easier, and probably better from a functionality standpoint, it could just be something slotted in the options where we set our wallpaper/light - a new slot just for music. If it isn't anything that could tie in with a current craft, we could quest for it, or maybe have it bought with seals/from beast tribe vendors?

Private room gardening, im not allowed to use the garden feature in my FC.
So it would be nice option to have that option open in my private room.
Kinda like in FFXI, get a few flower pots, plant stuff in them.

I noticed you guys are giving us lots of new furnishings which is awesome but are we getting more space? :/

Thinking about Laughlyn's request for private gardening, which I also would like to see implemented, what about the option of installing a glass roof for natural lighting in our private room, which would make the cultivation of potted plants more realistic? A small attached patio is another idea for private gardening but probably more difficult to implement.

Let me explain that:
A crafted table on which you can Show different maps (Dungeons, primal fights,...) and on which you can position markers (representing your Group members, Mobs, bosses, Aoes, traps). Now when someone interacts with the table it zooms in (so you have the whole table in your Screen) and you can either just watch other People Change things on the table or Change things yourself.
This would really help organizing for raids ingame, everyone would know what to expect and how to move during the fights (at least theoretically) even if it is their first time. The Table could be made by crafters using nummerous steps and materials (maybe it would Need multiple crafters to work together to make different parts of the table), and the maps and markers could also be made by crafters (so they have allot to do with that).

i Agree with this idea whole heartedly as a FC Co-leader me and my buddy (FC master) , we train alot of our members in tactics and how battles work so far we have been using way points and Eos to represent where to stand/be under certain conditions to explain fights
Ex: ifrit extreme place waymarkers have healers stand in em have 1 EoS play ifrit and selene to play the role of Searing wind!

I would like to have some sort of in game calendar/community board for the fc housing. Not everyone uses third party guild sites. Most of my fc doesn't register to our guild site and I think it would be a lot easier if there was something like this in the fc house for people to post events. People could just "thumbtack" the event which would put there name down as attending or at least interested. There could be a community board part where people post things they need help with or event suggestions for the fc to do.The calendar is the most important part. I would love to go to the house, go to the fc calendar, see if there is anything going for the day and maybe post on there that that day, or a different day, that I would be running primals/coil/CT at a certain time of anyone else wanted to join. As of right now I have many members that get online just as in entering T5 or leviathan that need it but I'm full and by the time I'm done they logged off or I have to go to bed.

As it's been mentioned before, garden pots for private rooms. This way members can grow whatever they want too. The limits on the garden are pretty annoying to be bluntly honest. Most plants take 5-7 days to grow, on top of that houses have limited gardens. So having garden pots you can plant a seed in and grow would be a lot more beneficial overall. That way the garden can be used to not only grow a few things but also pump out seeds and then members can grow w/e seed they want in their room. Of course they can't get seeds as results/cross plant. Tho would have to keep it simple like a limit of 3 or 4 pots in your room otherwise it'd get out of control and someone would have a room full of pots flooding the market on items.

Could we have the inn room furnishings available for placement in the private quarters? It kind of defeats the purpose of having my own room when I need to dash to the inn to do something I should be able to do from my room (Like messing with the armoire, toybox, etc)

Add a "Wallmounted" furniture called "Mouse-hole" please!
Features: A mouse-hole in the wall, with a tiny mouse that comes out & eats a lil bit of cheese maybe?

Stationary-room pets, that can free-roam the private chamber!
Complete with a pet food & water bowl ofcourse! :p

Fishtanks & Jukebox is also on my wishlist!!!!!

More dyeable furnitures, like Rugs, wall designs (wallpaper) and flooring tiles.

Room Lighting!
Please make the room brightness turn down when its nighttime, Or add an lightswitch. :)
Because haveing candles etc dosent give the room justice if the room is always fully lit up.

Also, maybe a furniture storage inventory, like a loft where you can store unused furnitures.
(since there's a max furniture limit)

Can we get a mirror (of varying sizes)? Oval shaped, square, rectangle, anything, really. I'd love to have one in my room. ;)
