22.7gb update after relogging?

lol can't dl the new update now keeps saying unable to complete version check. Thanks se

I have run test after new launcher is downloaded.
I am still in the middle of download for PS4 version for the third time, because I have PC version now.

And... I think it is FIXED now!!!

I pull the plug on PS4 and usual system check up BUT no more "First Time Set Up" and the download resume from where I left.

I won't be downloading the full game anytime soon. So if anyone who have a backup would test and see if this fix for sure, it'd be great. But as far as I see, the "First time set up" is gone now.

almost 3 days and I haven't been able to play, I really hope we get some kind of compensation

what new launcher dl? I haven't gotten a single prompt to update the launcher on psn. I can't even dl what they did in the maintenance last night cuz it keeps saying unable to complete version check after I click login

The previous launcher version suffix is 5.02 and the game just installed new one 5.03 just now for me. You need to boot FF XIV Stormblood to download new launcher.

A new launcher version is likely to address this kind of issue, but I'm kinda worried about the silence around this issue/potential fix in today's maintenance notes.

I don't think they are going to list it in patch note since this isn't actual game issue but an isolated one on PS4 launcher. As far as I tested, it is fixed!

I've already done that multiple time. I cannot even log in the game because it keeps saying unable to complete version check. Not getting any prompt to dl a new launcher

That means, you have a different connection problem which has nothing to do with the issue in this thread, sorry.
