I remember back in ARR when it was first getting implemented. I was excited about it back then remembering well how some of the genuine MNK leveling gear looked like thongs, was torture having to wear them because it was best in slot at that level/moment. So I was glad with glamour system didn't have to go through that mess again. As you continue playing the game you start looking more at other players and enjoy their attires until players start getting bold and wearing shameful glamour which obviously is not fitting for the occasion, so now I'm back having to endure this torture sometimes and can't do anything about it except quit the game.

You see the thing is that it seems to get worse with each expansion. I'm not sure if it's just because of more clothing available or the players becoming more bold to experiment to their own confusion. I last was doing MSQ in peace and I saw a guy with bunny ears glamour and shameful clothing waving at me for no reason. Just stood next to me and waving at me and I had to be there for progressing my MSQ, I couldn't do anything about it. It seriously made me consider quitting this game for good and not even joking. This was off duty so it could have been without glamour as well but that's why, as I think I earlier suggested in this thread also, that a temp default clothing or hiding option would be more ideal.

honestly I do agree with this because I also got tired of this like I don't always mind because of a reason stated but like in 300 they still look like warrior and not well sluts. I also want SE to kill some unisex glam if you pay for the glam it should be unisex that I will not deny. But not everyone like some of the unisex glam being unisex when they are made for woman because of oh ya I wanna be included most bun boy I see all look the same and when I see a bun boy with normal cloth I am always taken aback because crap they look good!

Funnily enough if they want to avoid making unisex gear they could already do that. Sure, keep making 'male/female' clothing. But allow both genders to wear them regardless. They just took the path of least resistance by creating unisex gears because making two gears means twice the resources needed.

In short, they need to stop cutting corner. Or so have I guessed, wildly. :P Who could've thought when people ask for them to unlock gender restriction, the conclusion they arrive was to delete options/choices entirely. Sounds familiar, ain't it? lol

Funny thing is for me I pay glams no mind at all. But in hunt trains where there is a flying neon car beside me I sing that old Sesame Street song, "one of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong" Tech is fine, tech has always been in FF, but the new thing they are doing where they are plugging modern looking tech or boilerplate sci-fi designs into the games instead of doing their own style of fantastic designs like they used to is where I personally draw the line. It feels lazy and is incredibly lacking in creativity.

Its just a lack of quality and integrity / being arsed to adhere to your own worldbuilding. Its not just with glam its a lot of stuff. I didnt think that a "Final fantasy themepark" meant that your immersion gets nuked too by "insert stuff because cool. Screw the set rules of the world"

Everything needs to have flying so they insert these bogus 2 second explanations. "Oh this hippo can fly because it accidentally stepped into a cauldron of wind juice teehee haahaa fart noises"

Imagine the cool glams we could have if more gear was dyeable and we could cross-job...
