...You do know this is a common business practice, right? I'd definitely love to move back to Japan since localization can actually be a pretty fun job to do. Telecommuting isn't the same thing. You can't telecommute to a fan festival for example.

I'm talking about work not fan festival. After all, I don't stay in my ivory tower all year either! I have to pop into the office for training and other events. ^^ Telecommuting is becoming much more common in the US than the rest of the world apparently. My last two jobs were Work-From-Home!

As for the job opening that one isn't for me even if I wanted my translations are not to the level of the community reps in here. Being able to speak/read/write both language is one thing, making it more professional for business is another. I can't do it professionally, I know my limitations.

Anyways thanks for those asking me to try out and I hope whoever gets in I wish that person the best and congrats working with Square-Enix since that's dream job for a lot of people I know including myself LOL.

Now back to translations, got one more for today.

With patch 1.22 I noticed cure icon, however with many icons included now I have problem figuring out which icon what what...orz

確かにあると便利な機能ですね。ただ、作業工数が大きくかかるため、現行版では他の作業項目との兼ね合いから対応を見送ることになりました。新生においては各アイコンの名称が確認できるようになる予定です。
It will indeed be useful to have that feature however to make that possible it will require a lot of work so looking over with other tasks for current version we decided to skip this one. In 2.0 we are planning to make it where you can check the icon names.

This one is regarding the recast timer being bugged after 1.22a where you use an ability/action and it stays highlighted for second or two after it being used. http://goo.gl/OkMhd - This one is asking the devs to display the date when your account expires on character select screen - Rep replied that they cannot do that with the client and have to check through SE accounts websites and they also don't have any plans for this feature in 2.0 as well. Also another person said once the account expired and you pay right after it makes it where you can't post on the forum for 1 day and to fix it. Rep replied saying they will look into this one.

Regarding Hamlet Defense - Players saying the points required to rank 2 is way too much.

Personally they basically tested on players again... gotta love SE for doing that since FFXI days... test server is much needed imo... or QA team needs to play more FFXIV to understand what players really feel....

問題なのは、
備蓄が０になって報われないで消えてしまうこと、
納品者が非納品者に対してアドバンテージがない事、
ランカーとランカー以外の納品者では格差があること。（ランカーになれなければ納品しないも一緒となっている）
The problem is, the contributions becomes 0 and you don't get rewarded. There isn't any advantage for those who supplied to those who didn't supply anything, There are difference in those who are in ranking and those who aren't. If you're not listed in the ranker it's same as not doing anything at all
