Subscription deadline is coming up and the question is: will you subscribe?

I am seriously hinging on the edge for my second account due to the ever-present lag spikes I am getting now (plus the random 90000 error, but this one doesn't happen too often). I've done all I can to try and resolve this issue, but perhaps it's not me at all but SE themselves.

As for the question: subscribe? That's a maybe.

Yes because wanting gameplay elements from their old game to be improved and incorporated into their new game rather than a copy of the "standard" MMO namely WOW means I want it exactly like FFXI. LOL nice one

Oh, but they are relevant. They are all things you can pay a monthly fee to partake in and use.

The chief difference of relevance is that only mmo's get to release half finished and ask for money long before they have so much add half a game on the table.

I really like this game, but with a latency between 900 - 1200 ms almost everytime I won't subscribe.

12 euros is such pennies, that I don't see a point in not paying. A PS3 game costs 60 euros and some can last as long as 5 hours, so there is no point in not subscribing.

I plan to play no other MMO in the near future, this is the only one.

I have Relic +1 and if i'll do a few more CM runs i'll have 7DL pieces.. I can't find any reason to sub before 2.1 >.> I don't want to jump to B. Coil before doing Crystal Tower anyway ...

Already subscribed, my boyfriend and I have both bought 120 days of subscription time. We're really having a lot of fun.

I love Final Fantasy. I enjoy this game, but at times it is painful. I very much wish I hadn't rushed to 50 on my main class, but luckily the other classes are quite fun to toy around with.

Square Enix really need to add more mid-level quests though for future classes. Fate grinding isn't fun after one class, let alone raising the others, and you don't have a choice because no quests.

Honestly? If I didn't have such an awesome LS with people who keep me entertained and to do random stuff with ingame I would be a lot close to not subscribing. However, I'll give the game a chance.

am sitting on the fence at the moment, not sure if i really want to continue.

Had a chat with 3 mates on vent last night, between us we have just under 50 years mmo experiences combined and its funny we all agreed this was boring compared to others.

major issues i have:
1. combat and the global cool down just seems so slow
2. lag spikes and how the client / server work
3. not enough content (not talking about end game content) there isnt a journey you can remember
4. levelling is way to fast
5. Fate system is over kill
6. No tell function in instances
7. cant right click block
8. world seems to linear - exploration seems boring
9. death doesn't mean anything in this game - no sense of fear
10. crafting atm is meaningless
11. characters just all seem the same, all look the same, all use the same rotations

Things I like:
1. DF is a good idea - could be better implemented
2. primal fights are fun
3. proabably the best crafting system i seen implemented
4. FF linkage to the past

I will wait till 2.1 before i make a final verdict, but the biggest issue is that ffxiv is trying to be a jack of all trades and a master of none.
