Yes this exactly. The game just needs to see that you have a display that it supports. Right now as it stands, the client is looking for displays that support up too, but no higher than 90hz. So by adding these to the list of supported modes it tricks the client into thinking you have a supported display.

I will try launching the game after maintenance and see if this works for me :)

Update: This did not seem to work :/ too bad.

Word of advice, if you're going to post dxdiag make sure you aren't running certain programs that could get you in trouble.

Issue still remains after the emergency maintenance.Can't believe that such a big problem is just ignored by SE. Disappointed...

O.O I'm able to boot without my TV and the other band aid! At least this once I can. We'll see about later.

Ok so I had absolutely zero issues before this maintenance, now the game crashes before data center selection screen with dx11 errors. Anyone else?

Also tossing my hat in there.

144Hz screen in the laptop, no good.
Plug in my 60Hz monitor, set external as primary, launches fine.

I've gone as far as as get some software to get my ipad pro to act like a 2nd monitor. It launches, but uses the intel graphics card, and not my nvidia rtx. (I feel that is a limitation of the usb-c, as hdmi and digital ports work fine).

So, we shouldn't have to jump thru the hoops to play. We should be able to just start the program, enter our credentials, and hit launch. Please resolve, as we did not have issues with the game prior to the changes in Shadowbringers.

Maintenance is over and the issue has not been fixed, I'm so furious right now you have got to be kidding me what the actual ffffff
