I always found funny how those against a change to atma drop rate also happen to be those who got lucky, and also happen to be those who don't understand there's no skill in rng or doing lvl 10 fates (no fun either)

No one ever accused Atma farming of being fun. It's a measure of determination. It takes a certain mindset to get in there and spend your entire evening doing nothing but FATEs. The reason so many people are resistant to SE changing the drops of Atma, is because those people actually got in there and worked hard for their Atma. Some people got lucky and finished within 12 hours. Some people (like myself) had to spend the greater part of 5+ days, doing nothing but running from FATE to FATE, to get all 12 Atma.
I'm more convinced that the people complaining about the drop rates just aren't putting in the time they need in order to get their Atma. 1-2 hours a day isn't going to cut it. You need to grab a drink, fix a sandwich, pull up Netflix, and devote your evening to it in order to get it done. That's how I finished both of my relic weapons.
It's one of the reasons I unsubbed. I check back periodically to see if it has changed because at one time I really did enjoy the game. Atma grinding kind of ruined that for me. Until it does change, I'll take my money elsewhere.
So you have masochistic tendencies, good for you, I'd personally rather keep that out of the game tho. If they went with your mindset for every content they could slap a 3000 atma requirement to unlock third coil and you would be fine with it, because "it's a measure of determination". Lie to yourself all you want but this isn't a measure of determination if all you do is barely pay attention to the game, auto attack fates and switch to Netflix. This is a game, if you want boring grind to replace the fun go get a real job.
You unsubbed because of the Atma drop rate? You do realize you didn't need to do the weapon, right? No one needs this weapon. It is an alternative to other weapons available (other than the sheer fact it can now go up to i115 but that doesn't make or break the game) through different grind methods (Hunts, Coil, etc).
Then why is the most common argument "I got mine in a few hours, you just aren't trying hard enough".
and way to restate the same damn argument.Quote:

bite it.
When you run with a woman who frustrates herself sick for hours of a day every day for several weeks, then you get to hold a valid opinion to this discussion.
If you read my posts on the subject, you would see that I suggest it actually takes LONGER to complete. Right now, on average, it takes 10-15 hours of fate grinding to get your Atma Weapon. My suggestion would put it at 15-30 hours. Doubling or Tripling the time it takes.
The difference being that it would be 15-30 hours of FUN, not 10-15 hours of boredom. In addition you wouldn't be fighting level 2-5 content either. I'm not asking for the Atma to be easier or less time consuming. In fact I ask the opposite. I want it to be long. I want it to be hard.
I just want the whole thing to be fun. Now.. I ask again to everyone in the thread. Why can't it be fun?
