Is black possible ? And what would one need for black ?
Coral Pink: 7 Deepen Red(Xelphatol Apple) and 13 Deepen Blue( O'Ghomoro Berry ) or Xelphatol Apple x4, O'Ghomoro Berry x4, Valfruit(lighten green) x4
So , if you're using less of the deepen red and blue fruits you also have to lighten green hue or that the valfruit is not needed in recipe for that color?
Any idea on soot black yet?
since the 36x 3 "lightenings", 27 more Plums and this is the result:

mostly just a reminder for me, but next up: 3x omgh berry, 2x valfruit & 5 cield pineapple (only pineapples gave the "Begins to grow new feathers, every one of them 5.) it was also fed on that order. gonna see in the mornin
Thank you ... eloquent proof that "Lighten Red" = lessen the red channel.
Now the question is, "What would have happened after the first "is growing new feathers""?
I think I'll try plums next, but stop at the first new feathers. If we wind up the same ... well .... there's yer answer!
Deepening red a bunch and blue a ton will result in vastly decreased green. The changes to blue and red largely cancel each other out (blue is affected more by the red since it starts lower, hence why you need more blue than red). The only real difference RGB wise between Desert Yellow and Coral Pink is a decrease of green by about 75 points.
The other formula accelerated the decreasing of green by using the green lightener. The relative values of all of the colors are the same as above, but they should be more extreme. However, since we're dealing with discrete colors here, it's no surprise that both result in the same color.
I fed my chocobo 1 O'Ghomoro Berry and got no change. I have fed him 25 more now and will post the results in 6 hours. I'm shooting for Void Blue.
