Quick question since this is the general discussion thread:

speaking of Bard Why the HELL was Bard an extension of Archer to begin with??

shouldn't there have been a separate class entirely which was focused on music and playing instruments for Bard? why did they decide to give Bard to the archer class, instead of making that a Ranger with ranged DPS based skills

just one thing that annoyed me... are they changing it so Bard is separate and plays instruments and stuff?

You know I am. Anything is better than generic "I'll hold my hand in front of my face and then fling it out to cast absolutely every song, spell and buff in game". I love that we get to hold a harp as we sing (though i dunno where you keep it). I wonder if each song would have its own instrument.

FFXI pulled instruments out of its butt too.

Still kind of annoys me that the archer turns into a Bard for some reason though

mhmm maybe? Might be able to choose? I wonder if DRG will get extra jumps.

I think it was in part of the latest live letter. A lalafell was playing on a harp and cast a song as yoshi ran past.

And I don't mind Archer > Bard. It has been mentioned before that eventually classes would have more than one job leading off of it. So a more DD focused class like ranger or whatever could be in the Archer class tree. For me, I have always played either ranged DD or a healer, so I liked Bard because I was a decent DD and could provide support to my party. Plus most content usually benefitted from a Bard in the party so it was nice to feel usefull

My favorite seasonal event was the summer event Yukata cause it increased the size of certain ...assets...

I really liked the red one the most because it looked the best imo

Me too, I would have liked a bit more fluff on the skirt - like a Lolita kind line. But overall they are just too cute.

I'm sorry if i wasn't clear with my question, but that's basically what i meant. Samurai, Ninja and Mustekeer were confirmed as classes/job Yoshi-p wants to implement. However, they haven't been officially announced as a new class or job (as in mentioned as a playable class and job section of the official Final Fantasy XIV website). (^_^ )

There was a Lalafell Bard in the Moraby Drydocks area of the "Tour of Eorzea - Part 01" trailer where you can see the bard pull out a harp while his/her bow was still hanging on his/her back.

I probably wouldn't. But if someone close made an outfit for me and was "persuasive" I'd probably end up doing it. How can you refuse something made by someone else close to you and not wear it at least once? Crosedressing cosplay with take more then just persuasion though!

already have (only for conventions) but it's super funny when you walk to a supermarket to buy something to eat and drink. People are like O_O but some are mean like "is it carnival or something? =P

Well, your White Mage and Pugilist Costumes do look amazing! As well as your sister's Black Mage Costume. I'd love to see what you would do with a Dragoon, Bard and Summoner. (^_^ )

Never really understood why this was a problem to begin with.

Why can't Bard branch off of Archer? Is it that you just wanted ranger and are butthurt about it? or do you have a good reason why its a problem for you.

First summer event, because I tended to take breaks around the holidays, I ended up missing quite a few of the other vents. Like the second summer sale :< wish I didn't miss it.

Well, as for Necromancer, im at a loss. Maybe a mix of DoT and DD? Bring back the Umbra spells, alongside powerful Bio like spells focusing on a soul based theme(liike spirits being the basis for its spells). Gravity spells maybe? I really don't know :O I didn't think about it in detail hmm.

Answer: I would choose Gunblade Specialist. It would be a DD class that specialized in mid ranged attacks that brought the player closer to the enemy. Similar to the monks shoulder tackle, but it is the start of a combo. (Rough Divide; rushes opponent, which activates several other strikes as well.. )

This class' niche would be to build up counters (Chamber rounds) You can spend them to deal status effects like bleed, heavy or def down.

the guild would be in one of the smaller towns between U'ldah and Limsa Lominsa.

Topic: If you could be working for Wada and Yoshi-P on ARR; what one thing would you want to add? (IE: Gunblade >.>, Zell's hover board mount.)

This is probably a given eventually, but I really want Thief to come back. Given the different City states, I guess it could probably be best in Gridania, seeing as how us Duskwights have a time honored tradition of banditry. ;)

Uldah has it more as a religion...

And Limsa...well, drunk pirates. Thieving in these other places isn't exactly all that much of a practice. We got poachers!
