Global Alpha Test Start Date

Some people clearly didn't read about the NDA, quick give their spot to someone else!

Sorry to those of you that were not selected in the current round of Alpha Tester selection. Unfortunately, we need to control the number of users participating, so not everyone is guaranteed a spot. However, please note that this is not the final selection for Alpha Testers and we are proceeding to make adjustments so that we can continue to add testers.

While we can't offer firm timing, or other specifics, at this time, there will be more chances to be selected. We appreciate your understanding everyone.

Can you at least pass along the message that they mistakenly did not pick the most important FFXIV player of all time for the first alpha tests? I am talking about yours truly of course.

This is where I would show a video or screenshot of Snurbbles dieing en-masse with the humble request that they reconsiter their slots.

But truth be told I've not applied for Alpha Testing, life has unexpectedly demanded a great deal of my attention right now. I'll save that bit for later down the line as we get closer to Beta.

Well, no one was "guaranteed" a spot in the first place. So everyone should have kept their "expectations" low and if you happened to get an invite then you can do kart wheels around the house :P. Alpha Versions, there's not that many positions available, so it's more or less like trying to win a lottery! XD
