Probably not but for now at least.....Ive been trying to find another mmo for years to replace ffxiv and as much as I hate to admit it I havent found one yet which is what keeps me here still despite feeling less and less good about the state of the game. I did however start playing eso more and more even though I once called ffxiv my favourite game ever. We all need new mmos haha
Them ignoring people who have been complaining about healers reminds me of WoW's Shadowland's covenants and how it took them til the end of the expansion to finally give people the ability to switch freely between them, something they wanted from the start. It was so unhealthy for the game to keep insisting their way is better than what the players say they want.
????
We get two new dungeon sets every base expansion, regardless of their level (they never follow the same level anyway). We certainly did this one as well; one in Babil, one in Vanaspati.
We get 2 new sets per patch, +several lv.1 glamours, which are definitely more than we used to get. It doesn't matter if the two new sets come from dungeon, raid, tomestones, PVP, crafting, or extra content, as they never follow the exact same formula. It's always two (sometimes, even three when a minor patch drops, which surprises me).
In 6.1 we got two super awesome dyeable sets in the raid and the dungeon.
So yes, it is untrue that we are getting less sets.
We didn't get a glam that came from Tataru in particular, but that doesn't mean we got less glams (and considering that nowadays they add new glams every minor patch, we're certainly getting a lot).
The one we just got in this expansion is not a reused set, where does that come from? o_O It's a completely new design that my WoL is currently rocking.
New classes don't tend to get old weapons, and if you ask me, I think that'd be a waste of resources. If you want an old weapon, play an old class.
What's wrong about that?
Just gotta say. I dont normally post here, I've been playing since SHB and looking backwards at content, and then forwards, I can certainly agree with peoples concerns here. XIV is slowly following the pattern of WoW and it's very concerning.
I can only imagine how jaded some of you are, if you've been around for years. If I'm able to recognise these problems and I've only been playing since early/mid shb then... idk what to say lol. I feel like most of the time I cant criticise the game because people jump on me and gas light and claim nothing is wrong and I'm the problem, when in reality I only want what's best for the game longterm. It's actually very strange. I've never seen a game community act like this.
FFXIV's community finally, FINALLY melting down and voicing its opinions on the downward trajectory of the game is great. Mere days before WoW's next expansion gets announced? Now, that's just comedy.
