It appears posters like yourself and Wynn, justdont see the fit. Thats fine. Everyone else sees it. What is kind of funny, is your still beating the dead horse, by further posting comments like bolded. They put the square peg in the square hole, and the triangle one in the triangle hole. The general concensus is that you are simply looking at it wrong.

Your standing outside, looking down the horizon, and your going , looks flat to me. These guys are trying to get a square peg in a round hole if they think the earth is round. Then you post that you and other don't want it changed, in the books that its flat. You go on to "claim that there is clearly little need for debate, but youmake these comments again making implications.

Face it. You are the blind man, making comments under your breath that we are all fools because we claim there is a sun and you stand there in your shades holding your guide dogs leash claiming we are all trying to get square pegs in round holes, because there can't possibly be a sun, because you can't see it.

The earth is round. The sun shines brightly. just because you do not get it does not mean SE is looking at it incorrectly, or that the lore or facts were not already there. It means your just not getting it.

Wel thats questionable. The devs did say "Jobs" will lock out access to certain abilities in trade for acess to new, "job" specific abilities. Its very possible that ancient magics will be continue to be part of CON list and not be accessable by WHMs.

I think it will be like:

Con: Banish, Dia, Slow,Cure, Curega, Protect,Stoneskin, shockspikes etc

THM: Scourge, all elemental and ancient spells, poison spells, debuffs etc

What is considered to be a fundamental elemental of a class? Saying something is fundamentally the same could be taken countless way. What I say is a fundamental element to a class and what you says is a fundamental of the class can be, and probably are, different.

I could see trade a nuke for a nuke would fundamentally the same and so on.

In short, fundamentals are a relative term and quite subjective to what Yoshi sees as fundamental element of the class. Just something I think should be taken into consideration.

Fundamental for elementalist is elemental nukes. Fundamental for the light/dark class are light/dark spells.
