Au Ra physiology and other lore.

Judging by the demonstration they just showed on NicoNico, there's 4 different tail types and a length slider just like miqo'te have (at least for females, couldn't see males since it kept booting me for premium members)

Female height: 147cm (4'9.8) to 158.5cm (5'2)
Max height = Same as minimum height Midlander; Min height = 1 inch shorter than min height Miqo'te

Male height: ??? to 217cm (7'1)
Max height = ~3 inches taller than max height Elezen & 4~5 inches shorter than max height Roe.

I'm super happy. I was hoping they'd be able to be shorter than Midlanders, at least. I love short characters, but I am sad that there isn't a bigger difference for those who wanted them taller.

Omg 5'2" is so short....I was hoping to make it 5'7" at least :(

Also not liking how the horns are tied to certain faces ;;

The scales on the body are pretty nice tho.

Just for an update (not sure if someone has said this) but apparently the naming conventions for the au ra will be out late May

I'm glad the females are at least taller than I am irl, lol

147 cm is 4'8" btw, not 4'10"

I don't know about spaded tips, but they did show a Xaela today that had a tail with a barbed tip.

Well, at least with that height scale, I'll be able to keep my current(ly minimum) miqo'te height and still be taller than any Au Ra female that hits the minimum for the height slider.

Even at max height, the females are quite tiny. I expected them to at least be midlander height level. Whereas the males are VERY tall....the implications :eek:

I can't wait to be tall again, for a bit.

5'2" is rather short, but OK I guess. I'd go for somewhere around 5'5" on that small a frame, but 3 inches isn't TOO bad.

We've been over this before! Just because Au Ra males have huge frames compared to the females it doesn't mean their equipment is too big; at the same time, just because the males might have larger equipment it doesn't mean the females' equipment slots won't be able to accommodate. If you know what I'm talking about.
