Agreed, and when I did the poll there was strong support for this kind of "trial" round to get people into the swing of things. I'll be curious to see how well it works out.

I am kind of curious as well. And that reminds me.. I should start working on Rongi's 'thing' that he asked me to do. I don't think I've actually done much about it.. yet. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've been asked to share some updates from one of the stars of Cycle 2, judge in Cycle 3 and the YouTube cycle as well as a dear personal friend of mine - the one and only Ciara!

As some of you may know already, Ciara and her Hubby are some of the most fertile people on the planet and as a result, while we were working on the YT Cycle she had another little parasite incubating away inside her.

Well, we weren't the only ones excited for Cycle 4 as it turns out. The sprog was too and decided that there was no way he was going to miss the start of the cycle! This has been widely regarded as a bit of a poor move since he needed to cook a bit longer and so both Ciara and the new arrival have been off in hospital while they deal with all the complications that a preemie comes with. Since she's off without a laptop (or just as important, her security token!) she can't post on the forums herself but asked me to let everyone know that she's watching, rooting and sending her love! She loves the shots everyone sent in and even with everything that's been going on has been poking at me to let her know if I need any help from her :p

In the interest of making said new arrival a star, she also asked me to share some pictures with all of you! So here's Ciara's newborn, all 2 pounds, 39cm of him!

I'm happy to let you know that both of them are doing very well and they're hoping to be able to take the little guy home soon. In the meantime Ciara has been doing a fantastic job of getting the kid the correct start in life and has been reading The Hobbit to him when they're able to give them time together.

oh my gooses Ty, thanks for this update on Ciara and the baby.. she's been in my thoughts for a while now and i had been wondering how she was holding up this pregnancy. please give my love to her and the 'wee bairn.

Congrats on your baby Ciara =) My little sister was born premature, so I know that it can be quite difficult at first, but he seems to be doing just fine (and he's so expressive! such a cutie). I'm glad you're both doing fine, and I hope you both can go home soon!

Not to derail too terribly badly, but I just found out that Ciara gets to go home today!

Not the kiddo as I first posted since he'll still be there for a few months. But it's still good that he's stable enough to allow her to leave :D
