Hmm, GPU driver update made unsecapp.exe show up in Task Manager.
I googled its purpose and all but it seems I fail to understand why it shows up after this update..? x.x
Does someone have an idea or could explain this?
(I found threads in forums with the exact same topic but of course, as it seems to be some umwritten internet law: It is more than 4 years old and left unanswered :| )

If you are using Windows 7 and the unsecapp is currently running, you can check the Action Center to verify if any compatibility issues have occurred in the past. You can find it here:

A new page will open, showing you the latest messages reported by your Windows. -

I checked the center but can't recall right now if there were any entries related to this.
Also I saw that AMD changed the 14.4 driver on 04/30 and I remember downloading it a while ago and only installed it yesterday, I just don't remember if I downloaded before or after this change x.x
Might check all this tonight again because when I made the update and did a virus scan, I wasn't connected to the Internet.
Oh and yes, I am running Windows 7. Most google results are about XP and Vista :/ -

Okay, I am home and already did some things:
- Checked Action Log. Showed me that AODDriver4.2.0 (and another version at some point) couldn't be started because: System can't find the path.
- Downgraded from 14.4 to the previous Catalyst 13.12 (didn't have any huge problems, just that my GPU jumped to 89% Usage from time to time while I was actually just watching GPU-Z. Didn't happen again so far)
The downgrade fixed the AODDriver thing but it created a new problem D:
-> AMD FUEL Service couldn't start (reached time limit)
Then I flipped a small table, because I am having a headache right now and I just want to get rid of any incompatibilty and new (to me unknown) processes. In the end I just made a system restore. Luckily my system just created a restore point yesterday evening, yay.
I reset my system just to boot up with another error, saying that the restore couldn't finish properly :|
Good thing is: unsecapp.exe is gone and Fuel.Service.exe is running again! xD
To be safe, the first thing I did now was to create a fresh restore point.
tl;dr: Restored my system and everything strange is gone again.
Moral of the story: Never change a running system (Should take that to heart more often. I recall once updating my Android out of boredom just to be very very unhappy with the outcome orz)

In FFXI there were bards that sang praise about people. You could change your title there but they would also sing about other players. I always thought that was pretty cool. I know we have the NPCs in each town that gives you your achievement awards and titles, but it'd be kinda cool if the more you accomplish, if NPCs would randomly have conversations about you in town.
