I think what this whole deal and the Asmon thing really prove is that thousands of people will parrot a content creator they like.

Wuk Lamat would defeat Zenos in a 1v1 while simultaneously saving his life from an outside attack causing him to fall so deeply in love that he'd propose on the spot. After their wedding Varis would realize she's a much better ruler than he could ever be and name her Empress of Garlemald. The Alliance nations would look on in envy of the peace and happiness all the Garlean citizens had and would petition to be allowed to join the Garlean Empire.

Zoraal Ja would see this and drop dead from jealousy without anyone remembering he ever existed.

As many have already said before, the story really seemed like it was written for toddlers and not fans of the game for 10+ years that have to pay a monthly subscription.

Huh? Most content creators were not even doing MSQ when the negative feedback started rolling in, they were farming viewers with their spoiler free mount campaign streams. This is a genuine reaction from the player base.
