I wish this could be true, it would mean we're able to log in inside our house when we logg off in it, instead of being kicked out.

Haha. And the Party Finder has never been this populated somehow.

Lost Ark has no real solid foundations, story is underwhelming and poorly designed, the game is an half empty cash cow / grindfest that lacks in some important aspects. It do feel a lot like an over the top mobile ARPG mtx scheme with lots of things gated behind paywalls.

It will be fun for 2 months and then people will hit the grindfest wall and see it for what it is.

i failed to teleport to limsa on zodiark last night because it was so congested, so if there is a lack of players running around, i certainly haven't noticed it

For me FF14 has a little content hole. I don't want to level all my jobs fast to 90. I was lucky to get both ex-mounts already. I raid 2 days a week with my static so no PF-camping for me. Only 1 fate area left. I hope they will give us the first relic step earlier than in shb. I run out of things to do at max level.

BUT that is ok. My playstyle doesn't fit FF14 to my one and only game.

So Aloy, we meet in the forbidden west =)

I'm watching the Lost Ark Steamchart.

I really want to see what it does around the middle of March when all those founder pack Crystal Aura's run out and it comes time to whip out the wallet. Though it may take a little longer since they gave out some aura time as twitch drops.

If people are still playing by March, they'll gladly pay, I think. Basically, this is the free sub month offered when you buy FFXIV. Either people will leave before that, either they will long after. I do think it'll only be two weeks till Lost Ark no longer has enough players to have login queues, but I don't think there will be a drop in March.

So earlier in this thread I posted some pretty negative first impressions of Lost Ark, then recanted them after trying it, now I must go back to my original thoughts. The moment to moment gameplay is great but the game is suffering from MASSIVE systems bloat. Ive played mmo's for 20 years and I am overwhelmed and only level 30.

On top of that, the pay to win aspect is rearing its ugly head. Pay to win in Lost Ark isn't just skip some levels or optional power progression. It is HUGE, feels very mandatory, is very expensive and could quickly end up in thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars. This game will be dead in a month in the west, if they do not change their monetization. Uninstalled last night, cause eff that.
