I don't want to tank dungeons anymore...

If you don't have time to complete a dungeon at a PUG's pace then you probably shouldn't PUG at that moment in time. Don't queue up 30 minutes before you have to go to work/school/an appointment and then get mad at others or ruin their dungeon run because you feel like you're too busy to type "speed run please." Sure, there can be a pace that's too slow, but why don't you try communicating with the other people behind the avatars to see if you can come to an understanding? Pretty much everyone has different expectations for tanks, but we can't read your mind. Most of us should be willing to work with you and your wants/needs - it's built into our role after all. For example, I love a good speed run, myself, but I'll either just speed run with friends or check with the healer first to make sure it's ok. Sometimes they say it's not ok, but I don't throw a fit because that's not going to make the run any faster. Things work out better when we're all on the same page and fulfilling our designated roles, not overstepping someone else's job.

If someone speedruns at Arboretum in the next few weeks I'll be really mad. Especially on bees.

I have done that, and still got hate for it. You're coming off like diva yourself. A tanks job is to keep enmity, dps job is to kill, healers job is to heal. Pace isn't party of the job as it varoies from player to player. Calling someone out by pulling for them goes against teamwork, simply ask.

We are adault here we should use our big boy/girl words instead of acting like brats and throwing tantrums by steping on everyone elses toes.

Just because you've got somewhere to go in a short while and want to rush to death, doesn't mean I want to rush there either.

The OP just complained about people who just pull before him, not about speedrun. I did give my opinions on other pages still, now this thread has taken another turn : about relationship between member of a team in a Duty Finder. The more I see, the more divas I can see too : Tanks who want to just rule the group because they are tank ; DPS who thinks that everyone whould follow their lead since the time they give to the group is precious and deserve all attention than anyone else. Between you and me, I HATE DPS of that kind and have no remorse to see them die on a sucky pull from them. Still, I dont like tanks acting as dictator in a group. As for me, I'm fully aware that DPS have to wait longer than me and I take that into consideration when I come. Even if I meet DPS who wants to speed up without taking consideration if all can take on a speed run, I will stay anyway even after wipe. Because, I still have some remorse to let them down knowing they waited too long.

That's something special there. On one hand, there's no reason to be idling about for 15 seconds between trash packs. On the other, the tank was without TP going into a boss fight, and the SMN's only response is a self important macro filled with sound effects, despite the fact that they pulled and wiped the group, showing they have no consideration for "synergy and fast clears," when it comes at the cost of their precious DPS. I would have kicked him to the high heavens long before that escalated.

I'm already doing it. Bees are a non-issue if you kill the ones that use Final Sting first.

It's not that hard, if you time it just right you can cast stoneskin on the tank right when the mob dies, there is no downtime no waste of MP because by the time tank pulls again your MP is back. I'd rather use my swiftcast for something else. But that's just me, you are correct for the most part about SS not being worth it..maybe it's just habit for me?

Wow..that summoner was way out of line. There is no need for that, I am sorry that tank had to put up with that. No excuse for that.
