I'm very dissapointed, SE kill my job...

So, think I dont use any 4th in my rotation.
I hate placement, if I wanted to manage the placements I would play Monk and not Dragoon.

My new rotation ; 2.X like :

HT > BL+BFB > ID > IR > DIS > PS+BoTD > CT > Jump > Phleb > GK+LSweep > TT > SSD > VT > LS > FT > DFD

I think it's the best way for my GamePlay.
I know, I know, that suck, but I cant play correctly with sides placements and 50% chance of proc.

Get used to it. It took me 2-3 hours of dummy practice, then testing it a few dungeons. Takes a day at most to get used to the new rotation. It isn't hard. Set up something like this:

I'm sorry you feel that way, but as Dervy says, it's not that hard with some practice.

If you really hate positional skills, then perhaps you would enjoy a class like SMN or BRD more? It seems that SE is pushing for positional requirements to be a core mechanic of melee DPS. Only a suggestion, because I personally think it would be better to play something else instead of playing something sub-optimally, but at the end of the day you need to play what you find fun.

All job won 5 new skill.
Dragoon won 5 skills but both of them has 50% of proc with same effect and power... so we win only 4 complete skills.

Here's what you can do to ignore positionals and the random procs. You'll get an intense potency decrease compared to doing the positionals, but better than playing it 2.0 style.

Make a macro like this:

/micon "Wheeling Thrust"
/ac "Wheeling Thrust"
/ac "Fang and Claw"

Use that macro as your 4th hit for both Chaos Thrust and Full Thrust. Congrats, now the only thing you need to worry about is getting used to having a 4 part combo instead of 3 parts. You'll be able to ignore positionals and the random proc.

Just had a brainfart that I would get ya'lls opinion on... what if for our Procs (Fang & Wheeling) we had one macro that did:

/ac Fang
/ac Wheel

This is similar to what I did with Bard for Heavy shot/ Bloodletter/ Misery's end. It will execute which ever skill is available with next to no down time, will also help save space on your hotbar and having to figure out which one to hit.

I'm just against macroing DPS skills in general because of the non-queuing issue.

You can use the macro and still hit every positional, you'll just have to have a hotbar (I call it the "CD bar") where you place wheeling and fang/claw. Whichever one lights up is the one you need to position for.

Though tbh it makes MUCH more sense if Chaos Thrust always procced Wheeling (since CT is rear) and Full thrust always procced Fang/Claw.

Positionals are one thing but random positionals are quite stupid.

Another possiblity is for it to alternate between wheeling and fang/claw, so you can prepare for the positional.
