Have anyone requested bottles? I mean like all the single wine bottles that are in the Drowning Wench. That would be nice to have since I have a bar and the only bottle is the one with a cooler and corkscrew :D

I'd like to see a Housing Ward added to places like Revenant's Toll or Idyllshire.
Oh theres a thread here, wonderful! A few suggestions here!
Allagan themed flooring and walls. Non glowing/reduced glow is fine. (personally I like the walls/floor from turn two of the first coil)
Weapon rack like the one from the scions hq, the one with the staff in?
Dungeon flooring and walls. Specifically Hauke manors bloodstained decor please? Maybe even the glod strewn floors of the aquapolis?
More dungeon themed items. What it says on the tin. we haven't seen dungeon themed items since the last expansion. Some statues in the garden like the ruined crystals of sohm al.
Ishgard and other zone themed sets. Including banners like the three city states have.
Raid boss/dungeon boss head trophies. Because why not? who doesn't want chimeras head on the wall.
Thank you for reading!
if it hasn't been mentioned I would like to be able to change the whole inside base interior i.e. change from oasis to lavender. Or even give us whole new interior bases to choose from. I have a house in oasis and I like it there but personally its hard to come up with good interior design ideas with the brown orange cement look of oasis. I would so love to be able to change to the wood interior of lavender.
You can though? You just buy or craft the glade interior walls and floors; enough for however many levels of house that you have.
If you're worried about confusing them with the removable walls, those are called "partition walls." The interior walls however, get applied to a completely different option in the housing sub-menu and gets applied like wall paper to the entire level of the house.
I'd like to request kitchen furniture and tabletop items.
I tried making a kitchen in my cottage in Lavender Beds and I have so much trouble finding tabletop items that are not food to put in it that I nearly gave up.
We need:
Cooking pots
Oven Mitts to hang on the walls
Pot holder
Tupperwares
Cups
Spatulas, ladles and spoons
Kettles
Silverware
Saucer and mugs
We got Cupboards, I know, but having these items separated would make it a lot better to make very personal spaces in our houses. These items are mostly already present in a lot of game areas (like Rising Stones and the house in Falcon's Nest, so I don't thing it would be hard to implement.
Let my clarify, I'm talking about the interior framework. The pillars, stairs, upper/lower wall trimmings, etc. I would love to have the option of switching between the 3 framework themes or even using the FC workshop to maybe craft them like we're able to do with houses. I mean if we're able to craft houses via FC workshop why not be able to craft the interior framework too.
indoor fountains, and taller trees
A wider variety of trees.
Japanese maple trees.
Trees with autumn leaves.
Taller trees.
More flowers.
Ability to let minions roam in the yard and house.
Fish in the ponds.
More combinations of items, e.g. a big mossy rock with some clover, grass and a large tree all in one. This way we can place "more" items in the limited yard space.
New fences.
New house designs (roof, walls etc.)
And the main fountain in the goblet needs to be redone, so that water actually spouts out of it. Like the Idyllshire fountain. The goblet could also use more palm trees to actually look like an oasis. :) The goblet really needs more plants and shade.
When will there be more housing plots? There isn't any available on my server, especially starter houses. Other MMOs don't seem to have as many problems with providing housing to everyone or difficulty rearrange/removing items without destroying them. Why is FFXIV having so much difficulty? I like the game but this and lack of meaty content recently is a large let down.
Someone mentioned in a couple other threads that Sept 2nd there should be more houses opening up. Auto-demolition timer is supposed to start again when 3.35 hits on the 19th and it takes 45 days of someone not entering their house for auto-demolition to take over and make the house available again. As far as adding additional wards, they just added the current ones that filled and haven't made any statements about if/when additional wards will be added. They are adding apartments in 4.0, but so far there's been little info on what apartments consist of. As for the rest, it's a design choice on their part. They recently said they were removing the destroy on removal bit from some items, but we don't know which ones.
Edit: Square has now stated auto-demo's been moved to 3.4.
Do we have indoor/balcony gardening? It would be nice for the apartment housing. Though I would probably prefer to have more closet space than a full greenhouse. I'm seriously running out of space in my retainer inventories.
Curtains please!
Plain-colored wallpaper and carpeting ;__; Most of the wallpapers and flooring have clashing designs, and it's really hard to find any combinations that a.) work right, and b.) aren't already being used in dozens of other houses. Just simple color options with no patterns would do loads to alleviate my irritation with this issue.
I don't know if it is technically feasible but just having a single plain carpet, wallpaper, and partition that were dyable would be the bee's knees.
After careful thought and my vast hatred for trying to make the aetherial wheel stand work in any of the rooms, I'd like to suggest a single wheel charger that looks like a blender when you have a wheel on it. Have one for each wheel level with a limitation on how many of each level can be added to the house. We only use our stand for grade 3 charges and that's a lot of space (and clashing colors) to use up for one item charging. It'd add a little something animated and flashy for bar/kitchen spaces as well!
I would love a "floor slot" for the outdoors, the perfectly cut, spotless grassy lawn has really grown old. Flooring options like dry grass, snow, water puddles, sand, etc. would give a breathe of new life to the feel of our gardens.
Also a dye that gave items an "old/worn out effect" would be neat. Like turning a normal wardrobe into a broken one, splintered flooring, cracked walls, etcetera. All these items are nice and give a feel of luxury. I'd like something with a poor/slum feel. The innroom at the Cloud Nine is a perfect example.
Board games! Let's get some table top games (housing items) for multiple people going. One person launches a game by clicking the board and then the game starts when the leader hits start or the max number of players have opened the board game (up to 6 players). Maybe some simple "make it to the end" type games based on dungeons or a unique story where you spin to move your piece forward, gather a card and do what the card says to something slightly more advanced where you can keep the cards and use them to your advantage to play against other players pieces on the board. You could also add collectable board game pieces for players to use beyond the default ones for added fun.
Still waiting for my Fish Tanks / Aquariums.
(like the ones we had in FFXI)
An idea not limited to inside housing, but a simple Green screen setup would be fantastic for making videos!
Fireflies incoming! (source)
Free Company board item!
Another thing: would it be possible to make fireplaces and candeholders switchable on/off? During the summer it seems silly to have the chimney lit, but it's not like I can just DEMOLISH it for the season.... Please let us stay cool without having to tear down our fireplaces.
I would like a private chamber available for my small house. Small houses are very boxy and this would alow me to at least separate the sleeping/bathing area from the living room in an already small area without boxing it in with walls or half partitions.
I would love it if the Manor Harpsicord (Piano) would be changed to be able to put things on it. Also, I use the stools as a side table next to my chair by the fire, because it fits better. I want to be able to put the ashtray on top of it so I can sit smoking by the fire.
I would like the change, but until then you can use the furniture glitch.

I'd love if they created something akin to vistas in Ward areas(with less intrusive graphics - if any at all) that encouraged players to sit out in public benches and other areas to both promote the populating of Wards and, at the very least, the artificial aesthetic of social interaction with other neighbours by offering things like experience boosts akin to that which you obtain by logging out in a Sanctuary or something. Anything at all that makes the Housing Wards feel more lively than they are, as was originally intended, and to give people less incentive to just idle in any random spot in front of their house and instead add to something more scenic.
Hell, I'd even love an auto-walk thing that makes your character patrol and walk around the entire ward for whenever you're afk'ing or doing anything else and basically turns you into an NPC until you choose to exit. How neat would it be to join a party with a friend or two, activate a walk/patrol command and then all of a sudden the entire group of you are following a path set out by the developers, occasionally stopping at scenic spots, automatically using an assortment of emotes and simulating conversation between the lot of you? All while you float off and do whatever else outside of the game or simply chat over your linkshells.

I think I requested or read this somewhere before, but just like to put it up again for visibility. Can we get a triple option (On/Off/Auto) for all lighting furniture please?
Thanks so much Zigabar!!
I'd like to see some a roof with the faire lanterns strung underneath (or just some lanterns in general). For indoors maybe some vertical strands of hanging lanterns and then strands similar to the christmas lights.
Pretty sure I haven't saw this posted before, can we get an option to group items together so we can move them as if they are a single piece of furniture? Just like wall mount/tabletop items. Bonus if we can group "glitched" floating items too! :3
Also, any chance we can get a z-axis (up/down) movement too?
