Whoever complains about not getting their favorite position can leave. They either reserve the M2 role first or they suck it up and do the other role. The party strat doesn't revolve around these princesses.

Never seen anybody do that. People use take whatever role. If they have super strong preferences, they nicely ask the favour to be a certain one, which is no problem to fix, but in general everybody just takes whatever and adjusts without further comments. People are way more flexible than you make them out to be,

In fairness to the OP, this iteration of Sephirot actually does seem to be worse than the original EX was back when it was current. The issue seems to be one of math. The ratio of damage dealt to maximum possible HP is less favorable than in the old EX. It's by no means insurmountable, but hoboy can you tell the difference.

Why didn't we have Garuda Unreal or Ifrit Unreal?

It's because they're specifically bringing back the "old hits". As in, the fights notorious for being hard even though they were EX trials. Padudu and Vrankyl are right, they're the same as before, just upscaled. They're just not the easy peasy crap that the devs sometimes add, they're the real EX trials that forced people to watch a guide and understand mechanics.

It's the quintessential way the devs have of telling anyone getting into EX difficulty content to Get Good.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to skip soar, soar skip could only be done with a good party and with gear since EX trials never launch with the player at min ilvl, but unreal is specifically scaled to min ilvl, so I don’t think even with 8 gold parses you will be able to skip soar on zurvan unreal

But that only guarantees we'll see those parties...with 999 ilvl requirement.

Despite the ilv sync being set to i565 for Seph Unreal, some players are setting the ilv requirement in PF to i600-i610. Apparently, ilv determines how good players are at mechanics.

It determines whether the person is playing their main job and has been max level for more than two weeks. Both of which are good things when trying to clear or farm an extreme fight. I'm sure there are good reasons to be at item level 565-590, but I struggle to think of ones that make the person the best pick for a team.
