Ah, yeah. That one was a toss between adding extra options or keeping the form simple. I tried to err on the side that was simpler to follow and would (I felt) provide more meaningful results. Bear in mind that this is just an birds-eye view of it, individual comments from the last Cycle will be taken into consideration too.

Hello all, I am here speaking on behalf on Adeline. She can't post on the forums atm, but says hi. She checks this thread as much as possible, so she's around, just can't talk. She say's gl with the rest of the youtube cycle, and is sad to see Sam go

Question, can someone who's been outside of the competition for the past cycles receive a better, more detailed explanation of the audition process?

If Tyriont does it like past auditions, he will assign 2 screen shots. A Battle shot and a Scenic shot. For your audition you will submit your best battle and scenic shots, and then if he thinks you are good enough to compete, he will select you for the cast. ((For Cycle 3, each judge was also allowed to choose one contestant to compete based on their submitted screen shots.))

The forums had me locked out and I fell off the wagon of checking the thread. Thank goodness I haven't missed the auditions for cycle 4! @_@

And the Screenshot rules? Do they have to be uncropped (so if you want an off-center shot you need to get a friend to play "photographer")? And what about programs I've heard of that can play with the lighting? Are those allowed and/or expected?
