MEGATHREAD: Requested Hairstyles & Facial Hair

I'm actually surprised we don't already have Hyth's and either of Emet-Selch’s.

Also, the beards! With the new "Faces We Wear" glams for glasses and eye patches, they could actually add some beards, moustaches, and face masks to that slot. Guys have been asking for actual facial hair for years!!

I suspect this would result in static unchanging beards that don't move when the character talks.

The first one is different enough to existing short styles that I hope it will fill a gap for characters that don't suit the existing ones. Sweeping back instead of forwards is nice.

Still would love Ryne's hair and Yugiris hair as both are really pretty and feminine. I see a lot of short spiky boyish haircuts and they do nothing for me I have long hair so love longer hair for my character. It was nice when we used to get 2 on the patches. It would be so nice to get both and some nice braided viking styles.

Something that kind of popped into my head it would be great is if the final FF11 alliance raid dropped Prishe's hairstyle.

They've got two different previously used paths: raid drops as in NieR or unlockable Gold Saucer prizes as in Ivalice.

If they want to be extra-nice they could give us Iroha's as well.

There are so many great hairstyles in FFXI, I'm personally annoyed we haven't gotten any yet. One raid left and the only bonus we've gotten is orchestrion roles and they haven't even dropped one of the most highly demanded tracks in the game. Like, if you are going to nostalgia bomb people, at least be generous.

Honestly my big want currently is more textures for the same styles (and possibly length variance of the same, though that's more of a pipe dream). I can't swap off my main's current hair to get a more accurate texture because the specific way he wears his hair is important, and also male Viera have like two wavy options and neither has the correct hairline. I just want the braided starter male Viera hair but wavy, but wavy options are so limited that I couldn't even properly represent him with his hair down (one is half-braided, the other is a bob).

I am once again asking for the genderlocked hairs (especially the cash shop ones) to be unlocked.

I'd love to see long wavy/curly hair and by long I mean lower back long. I don't care if it clips..Maybe make it fluffy so it hides clipping?
Maybe similar to Nophica's hair...

Face emotes need to stay on till you end them

I would love Nophica outfit with her hairstyle and also Rynes hair would be lovely. I do not like the Garnet outfit but where is her hair?

More hairstyles with a choice of fringe either with or without. I prefer without but it would be good to have the choice.

Midlander females have a style similar to FFXI with the braid and ponytail it is nice but it also needs to be a little longer it would be nicer.

It is funny first page of this thread is people asking for eye brows for highlander males. 5 years ago lol. I guess I keep wearing a helmet

I want a hairstyle like the "hat" version of this that doesn't cover the eyes. Nothing too wild, nothing that covers the eyes and clips into glasses/goggles, and not too long that it clips into all the high collars of so many tops. I'm often choosing a hairstyle that doesn't clip through my gear which is quite limiting.

I think I saw way back somebody asking for it but it is not my style at all. I think we did have a lot of feminine ones lately but they have been on the shop >.> I did think with the new variant dungeons there might have been a lovely mermaid longer style to go with the theme in there but nope lol. I am happy for those that want a shorter style but way back we used to get a few in each patch and now we get hardly anything and if it is it is on the store.

Still suprised Cid's and Esteniens 's hairstyle are not in the game.

If male highlander cannot have eyebrows, can we have sticky eyebrows and/or beards put onto facewear then? Technically it still conforms to the whatever Ala Mhigan lore they stick to, even in the First and Ninth Shard...

Absolutely, it's sad to see the state of the hairstyles players get - compared to the unique, longer hairs NPCs have. I'm still waiting for Yugiri and Gaia's hair as well

This. Without the gold headpiece on the back; but I personally don't mind it- and the secondary hair color should make it dyeable if it comes with it.
