Viera and Hrothgar Megathread

I have lvled my alt and gotten the glam all ready for when bun bois drop, (I love my dude-ra too much to ever change him) But I do hope at some point we get to see lion ladies.

Looking forward to the 14 hour stream hope we hear some more about female hroths.

Imagine they actually say anything about the hairstyles during 14 hours. Just imagine knowing anything about what is coming.

At this point, I'd genuinely rather they say "it had to be delayed/postponed" than "please wait a little longer", but at least concept art would be really nice

I think concept art of even ingame shots of beta hairs would be great. Also a word on Hrothgar and their hair/face situation.

I wish I could say I was expecting even that much anymore, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

About all I'm really expecting is info on the next seasonal event. Make It Rain should be coming up soon.

I hope this is what happens. There is plenty of variety in hairstyles you have to earn and it's kind of a bummer to be locked out of something you worked hard for.

Very nice, this looks like one of the special unlockable hairstyles. I will most likely switch back to Viera if they implement more hairstyles.

they will probably retrofit the buyable ones and add a couple brand new ones, and that's about it. They're not adjusting all the hairstyles to Viera, but that is still a lot better than what we have rn

So its true, female Viera are taller than the males~!!

That's disappointing, but ultimately not surprising given that most of the feedback gathered is from the likes of Reddit and Twitter these days.

Here's hoping we get some additional customisation for the existing playable races, since any new race added to the game is inevitably going to be forced to be compromised somehow.

Female Vieras at max height are 2-3 inches taller than the Male ones. The prophecy is true.

yall are too much, they are over 6 feet tall, not 5'3 like some people were afraid of

They're only 2 inches shorter than the women and are still taller than midlander hyur and much taller than miqo'te so I'm not sure they're being pandered to who you think they're being pandered to.

I like playing tall male characters so I was hoping they'd be taller. They're not, so I have little interest in them...which is a personal preference. Hardly anything to get worked up about, in my opinion.

Full height male viera will probably be taller than a minimum height female. We should know more in a couple days. I would think we'll get an official height comparison soon. I have my females at about 20 percent above short personally.

i promised myself that the last fantasia i bought was my last , so i am hoping i won't like any of the female newly added hairstyles (and from the pic they showed i think i won't ) , but i am surprised at how pretty the male viera hairstyles , much better than the female ones in my opinion that i wish we had them for female and maybe then i wouldn't have used a fantasia

That hairstyle doesn't look very 'viera' :/ which is incredibly disappointing for me

I'm really hoping Viera get some more unique hairstyles also, if anyone can confirm that they'll still have their own styles as well?

still sucks that min male to max fem viera gets to have that 18cm diff
while max male viera to min fem is like what 7cm?
not much equality there.

They're not as tall as I expected (or wanted) them to be, but they look great!

That's quite a decent amount shorter than females, I'm sure people who wanted to play shorter males would have just made them min height anyway, it's too bad that's max height. It definitely could have been a lot worse though.
