Just a "quick" (5 hours or so) drawing of my character. Gimp, mouse and keyboard only ^^.

New adventurer Nielle reaching Gridania. I must say, this is a very pretty starting area. Albeit too lazy to properly draw it as background.

Howdy! It's been a while! I recently did a new FF14 related drawing and I simply wanted to share it around!

I recently got back to FF14 and the first thing I did was to farm MGPs to get myself the best mount in the game, the Archon Throne! So I was so happy to get it that I drew my character riding it in his own unique way! x3

I also posted the drawing on tumblr for those who would like to extend the sharing! ;3

It's most likely the over the top view, but your drawing has a childlike appearance, which I wish we could possess in game :(. It would be amazing to have young races like this, but I digress! Awesome drawing, thanks for sharing :)

Just an additional drawing of my drug addicted demon miqo'te drinking some nice coffee in the morning before a day of blood and pain. Hey, even unhinged gladiators need their coffee in the morning!

This art-style is called "Chibi", you maybe heard of it. If not: wiki.

@caitlyn yes I had and even drew a few myself. But as you can noticed even in wiki a chibi style is 1) a full chibi size, 2) super thin/skinny adult body with a big head or 3) very small bodies with big heads. What she did was a drawing with a regular size body and just add a cartoonish head. Whether or not ppl are fine with that way is a complete different thing.

And I just listened to the song you mentioned. Truly, it fits the bill very nicely. This character is indeed a broke, rejected, unhealthy street cat looking for a fight and howling to the moonlight on a hot summer night! ;P

There is a correct way to offer critique you know. What you're doing is completely tearing their art style apart.

Everyone's art style is different, we don't all conform to the same otherwise we would not be unique.

You say you're an artist but I don't honestly believe you if you don't know the basic that everyone's art style is unique to themselves and thus the chibi she chose to draw is in her style. Please return to the Marriage Hook Up Thread that you seem to be a resident of if you're going to be crude or post your own art and get properly critiqued.

I like these draw threads... it's interesting to see how people view their characters physical traits in their mind, despite the limitations of the actual character creator.

Oh the lighting in this work looks cool. That artist did a great work with the eyecolors and the butterfly. They just pop up from the drawing.
