And related to Heavensward Junkmongers: When are the nameplates for the Au Ra Junkmongers going to be fixed from the currently incorrect "Merchant & Mender"?

I'd like to suggest an option to toggle the arrows pointing at certain furniture on or off. It's a bit jarring to walk into my home and see 10 white arrows pointing every which way...

That's amazing, I learned something new today. Thanks a lot for that, I have a lot of clickables in my house and while the arrows don't bug me that much, I'm still happier to see them gone.
I think it would be cool to have a small outside storage box for the chocobo stables. I own a personal house and have tenants, it would be cool to have a small box with maybe like 3-4 storage slots that you could put chocobo feed and gardening items that everyone could have access to. I do most of the gardening and I'd like to be able to store that for everyone to use.
Can we let this thing become optional? I would understand if it was to be designed to be as shade for an outdoor patio, but the fence makes it very limiting in what you can put under it. If that's not possible, perhaps let us have the ability to swap the side it's on?
For the love of the twelve!!............
it is vital to triple (if not more) the item limit for houses.
Small was ok for the most part..
Medium I had to block off an entire floor as I ran out of item limit.
Now that I upgraded my fc to a mansion its even worse ughhh.
I literally just started decorating the main floor and am already at 115/200 O.o wth????
Please....it has been long enough, what good is the extra space if you cant decorate it to look how one wants? Its really really limiting and that needs to end please.
Also please remove the 2/estate limit on the indirect lighting (in fact all limits/estate should go)...anytime something quite nice is designed..there is always a limit of some form.
its 2016...the game should be able to handle 134 lights if I choose
In Rift I had lightning effects /fire effects, smoke plumes ...EVERYWHERE and accent lighting of all sorts going on at the same time.., moving water, weather effects even.. this game should strive be superior to that, not offer so much less and limit creativity so much :(

They're aware people want more items in the houses. I think the last live letter Yoshida interrupted the translator before she could start telling him what the question was (about item limits) because he's heard it so many times now. They know and they're working on it. As far as RIFT comparisons, just remember that RIFT isn't tied to consoles released in 2006. The limitations will hopefully drop a bit once ps3 support is obliterated.
A housing glamour? Do you mean the Exterior Wall Decoration? That can be removed. Just go into Estate Settings > Exterior Decorations and right click the Riviera Awning and select Remove. Roof Decorations, Wall Decorations, Placards and Fences are all optional (though you will wind up with the default fence if you remove your crafted fence).
We need more Moogle themed furniture...Tables, chairs, beds! and more.
No, those are separate items and yes those can be changed/removed. I'm talking about the full on house glamours. He's using the eatery wall there (you can see the knife/spoon above the door). The house glamours are an all inclusive package, so you get everything whether you want it or not and nothing can be removed/changed without eliminating it all. The only thing you can change about the housing glamours is a single dye color.
I'd love to see an in door Punching Bag.
Maybe this has already been suggested, but I think bird and cricket cages would be a neat furnishing item. They could be outdoor only, or indoors as well. I would prefer larger, more elaborate cages to put outdoors. They could emit an ambient sound that was proximity-based (sort of like how campfires "turn on" when you approach them), or could be more like the music boxes where you'd have to activate them each time to hear the sound.
It would be nice to have access to apartment and condo type housing for poorer players...
I would really love some kind of simple and elegant indoor fountain please. My FC mansion has a perfect spot right in the main hall for it, just empty currently.
Also, I've asked before, but as a WVR craft (and please, nothing crazy high level/complex) may we PLEASE have flags or banners we can hang as wall decorations with our FC crest on it?
We need some sort of tea table...as I was decorating the exterior of my house...none of the tables looked proper for having some tea =3=
It would be nice if we could access the summon bell and FC chest in other player's houses, other than our own. This would be extra convenient for cases where I am helping LS/FC members craft furnishing. I'm pretty sure there's not restriction on those items in the FC workshops.
It would also be a nice option if we could place the FC chest and summon bell outside of the house, as well.
I know you can access the company chest as long as you are resident. Not sure about the bell. The chest makes sense regardless if you are a resident or not as long as you are both the same FC. Not so sure about the bell being a good idea. I leave my home open to the public but I certainly wouldn't want someone making regular use of my bell if they just happened to find my humble abode a comfortable place to craft on a regular basis.
Personal Housing I would like a Safe with 1 page for sharing stuff among family members.
I'd love more Chocobo furnishings. And it'd be nice if you could dye the background color of the chocobo wallpaper and flooring, but still have the yellow chocobos. And making the door on the second floor that leads to the balcony actually functional. Also, since there are officially housing items on Mog Station, will we be able to buy past event furnishings soon? I'd really love the cherry blossom trees.
Forgot before, an indoor market board would be amazing!
make it so i could purchase my beast tribe vendor items form a vendor in my house or free company please
I do understand your point. An alternative solution would be to grant FC Chest and Summon Bell access to either people on your friends list, or temporary access to someone that you invite to a party. That way the home owner would have more control over who has access. I also feel that this type of access should also extend to house merchant NPCs.
I would love to see an event that offers this tree again. I started my character the day this event ended and I missed it :(. It would complete my house decor outside. Anyway it could be added to mogstation for purchase? Non marketable of course :).
Would be better if they just added event housing items back to their events each year. It'd get messy with people selling used housing items. If it's a personal house, you could try putting up a PF notice saying how much you're willing to pay for a used cherry tree and temporarily give the seller tenant rights to set the tree down. It doesn't always work, but worth a try. Paying more for a tree than you did for the house + plot is a little nutty.
Sorry if this was already suggested not trying to steal anyone's idea but there is no way anyone is going to read every comment on 124 pages, so real free to let me know if it was already suggested. I was out doing my sylph daily as I was running up the tree it came to me, wouldn't it be cool to have sylph inspired housing wards, with tree house homes just like the one we run up for dailies only possibly a bit bigger because that platform at the top is kinda small, & the tents could be for the npc's to stand in. I personally would love this for a future update, what's everyone else think?
1. please consider adding more housing items from GS, would love to have the glowy panels that are on the walls and floor as well as the baseboards ^^
2. the big balloons behind the glass, would like an indoor and outdoor version of those too if possible.
3. also indoor and outdoor item limits need a huge huge boost asap.
4. eastern cherry trees available again plz as well as a variation of those, maybe in a different color?
I would really like to see some more housing designs or glamours like the moghomes, esp if they were of stone or marble like Nymian/Bronze Lake ruins or Amdapuri civilization. Of course Ishgard or Allag Empire designs would be nice too.
Slates
Basically saved yard/apartment/house/fc room layouts that can be called upon to place bound furniture located on yourself and retainers. This way if you get an area you way you like it, but would like to decorate for a holiday/event or try something new, you could always recall things to exactly how they were. If storing this information on the servers would be a burden, store it locally and just have the layout sent to the server when called upon.
Can the restrictions for number of crafting facilities for Private Chambers and Small and Medium houses be removed? The limitation really doesn't seem to have a solid reasoning behind it, since the facilities themselves have an overall minor benefit. They're also much easier to make these days, so people might want to use them for aesthetics.
More trees. Not bushes, trees. More plants in general, really. Not just flowers, but beds of ivy or flower beds (of different styles, and not planters), and in a variety of sizes to help fill space without robbing people of item count.
More themed items - instead of one or two items, I would like an entire spread - couches, chairs, loveseats, desks, tables (side and coffee), plants, beds (single and double), pillars (decorative and plain), baths (large and small), lights, and partitions. If you're feeling super generous, housing skins to match!
Restriction removals - if I want to put a pond in my bedroom, I should be able to. If I want to put a chair out on the lawn, I should be able to. If an item has a limit count, I don't want it to count for a housing item - doubly so if it has a limit count and I can't remove it without it being destroyed.
Make aetheryte crystals and mailboxes part of the outside menu - the same place where you set awnings and fences. These are borderline necessary items, and to have them count against an already limited item count is a little ridiculous.
A housing chest - where I can place just decoration items for when I am not using them, accessible by my tenants and my alts.
More paintings, wall-scrolls, wall items in general. I don't want another painting of a leader - I want landscapes, I want wall-mounted fountains and planters, I want varying sizes (mostly lengths) so that I do not have to use an enormous amount of my limited item slots to make a place feel lived in.
I'm thankful for the orchestrion - but I hate the look. I'd love just a small music box I can place on a table.
Longer partitions, chameleon partions, partitions with arches (in each wall style and a chameleon) or just door frames. One-person baths (no, not showers... though I'd like more styles for those!) and circular baths. Plain baths, decorative baths, even a large wooden basin for the truly cash-strapped!
Curtains that'll fit doors and partition arches. Fishtanks or even fish bowls. Children's furniture - cribs, mobiles, little chairs. Bathroom fixtures.
Housing is my endgame!
