Well, all that could be discussed was already discussed 20 times over and community pretty much unanimously agreed with things like kaiten=good, quaranteed crits=bad etc. . There was just few individuals who thought changes were good and some thought they were not that bad + some trolls. In the end, vast majority was against changes, so without people advocating for it, discussions ended up being Obama giving himself a medal meme. Hard to have discussion if you all agree on something.

I took a few months off from the game due to work reasons but was hoping that during that time there'd be some kind of news of a reversion. Sad that there isn't.

I remember when I came back to the game during ShB and trying to decide on what job to play. I distinctly remembered the kaiten animation (even though I couldn't remember the name of it) and wanted to play SAM just for that animation. Sadly, things didn't work out as my SO wanted to play SAM in our raids so I switched over to something else. Told myself I'd main SAM this xpac but I guess it was bad timing cuz the job no longer feels like it's former self. It feels empty now.
I tried playing other jobs but nothing has been able to replace SAM for me. So even though I'm playing it, I don't love it like I used to.

Still hoping they'll reconsider these changes. For me personally, I'd like Kaiten back at the very least for aesthetic, even if it functions differently.
