not really, he signed in and he was posting and I am posting a little bit because of what that person just said about not knowing anything I took over for a second how is that against rules?

I do hope you aren't logging in with your cousin's account since that is against the rules and apparently, you have to follow them exactly. Regardless, you seem to have conveniently ignored the part where Yoshida himself has watched raiders stream FFXIV with parsers active. If they were that rigid about parsers, why would the producer not step in and ban all of them? According to you, he should have.

Hey man, even if its consensual it's still against ToS to have somebody else use your account. Really sucks when your only argument is word of law, and somebody uses word of law arguments against you when in the grand scheme, neither parsing nor your use of your cousins account break the spirit of the law.

That technically doesn’t matter since your cousin is using an account that doesn’t belong to him, even if he has your permission, but okay. Just, if you want to enforce rules with regards to reporting people over parsing, best to follow them yourself is all I’m saying.

Yes, going in Savage expect people to be good or at least to aim for improvement. Casuals wanting to stay casual shouldn't get there.

As I said, it's only a problem if they are a burden in a meaningful way.

I meant if they are bringing enough dps for real, why should they improve overall? That's all I'm saying. Don't force people to be even better when they are good enough and don't want to get into more than what they did. Being above what's needed is already good. No need to be a god.

It really isn't. The time it does happen, they just happen to meet the jerks that are using parsers and probably not pulling their own weight hence the harassment.

Better learn to deal with the fact people are overall casual players in this game. Avoid playing with randoms the most you can. Some people can't even dodge big orange aoe on the ground. So don't ask them to be perfect at dps while they are focusing hard on dodging a mechanic when they certainly don't even would have a good rotation on a dummy. We proc with people from different servers we will never see again, so we have good chances to don't even see them after to talk and help in a meaningful way.

God forbid we want to hold players accountable. What terrible, awful people were are. Here's a novel idea, if you can't dodge giant orange markers, how about staying out of harder content? Why am I obligated to carry bad players just because they want to participate? Tanks and healers are not afforded the same luxury by virtue of their job. It's generally apparent when either role messes up. DPS, on the other hand, get a free pass unless someone watches their rotation or carefully words how they know their damage is abysmal. No one is asking for perfect, 95% DPS. We're asking for accountability and competency in harder content. If your damage is so low other players have to compensate for you, why is that fair?
