That's a good observation of the map log, I haven't seen that on anything else (that I can remember so far) but we've only unlocked up to sector 10 and 11 so far.

If the conditions are more than just surveillance we may need to have a full arsenal of the top tier airship parts and then swap them out to get to the certain stat level.

EDIT: Actually, looking at it, all references to E3 were replaced by F3, and the formatting for E3 is incorrect and it has F3's formatting instead. I think someone used cut/paste in a way that messed up the formulas... Please don't use ctrl-v/ctrl-x in the spreadsheet. Instead, rightclick and choose "paste special -> paste values only" if you want to copy/paste... Otherwise stuff like this happens because Google is helpful.

EDIT2: Yeah, that's definitely what happened. The conditional formatting was also messed up, as was the "rank too low" formula that's hidden from view and which was definitely working before...

So now, our aircraft is rank 30, so we sent him to sector 11, 5 and 4 but still no sign of sector 7 for us :/

Did a fun 14-11-13 voyage. Airship #3 unlocked, Sector 15 unlocked and got a LOT of airship mats - 36 chemical chimera hides, 4 aethero fiber, 5 synthetic fiber, 6 cassia logs and some materias. Pretty good haul. All documented on the Google doc

I made a new tab in the log spreadsheet to track the items in a static format so I can group them into categories, insert the items no one has found yet, and check for patterns. I see you're doing the same thing in the OP, Bonzai! Here's what I've found:

Each sector has exactly the following: 1 FC Crafting material. 1 Schematic item. 1 Unique housing/minion material. 1 Generic Crafting material. 2 Crystals. And I have no idea how much Materia. The Materia is the one that we don't have enough datapoints for a clear analysis. No one has even reported finding half of them! The rest is pretty clear though.


EDIT: And now I've redesigned the "Sector List" tab's per sector item list to categorize the drops based on the static item list tab. Anything not in a category will be listed in the Uncategorized field, including any uncorrected typos (or plurals). It'll make finding the typos even faster!

Materia seems to be grouped by type. If one crafting drops in a sector all crafting types drop there, same with gathering. Im not sure what the other groups are tho as I only payed attention to those 2.

Yes, those two are definitely grouped. I meant the other materia though - we don't have enough data for it.




I see someone has reported finding Sector SC19 - can someone corroborate the discovery, tell us where it unlocked from, and/or post screenshots of where it is on the map? I thought we were only going to get to SC18 this patch!

I'm still really surprised that we're still in the Sea of Clouds. I really expected later sectors to be in a new zone (Churning Mists, Azys Lla, etc), hence the "SC" at the start of my sector designations...
