No, the devs said you could make a more "succubus" looking female. Whether or not they accomplished that possibility is in the eye of the beholder.

And who says you can't be short yet fierce? That's like saying someone can't be cute if you're tall/you're not short.

They said thre would be options to make them less 'cute' in one live letter. But it seems it was just another lie.

5'2 is so tiny.. I feel uncomfortable as an adult with such an outrageous difference between men and woman.

As I said.. Succubus models in the game are TALLER than the Au ra.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed in some things myself but... I feel like if I was able to actually get into the creation myself and not see a dev play around with the creation doing previews then I might find a more fond liking to Au'Ra as it will be my own Au'Ra with my own personal preferences and touches. :)

I know it's not the dev's fault and they are doing their jobs but I really want my hands on it for the reasons above. I like the race but I don't think I can truly say this is the race I want to play my main as or not if I can't mess with it myself, I'd feel like I'm doing an halfarse job on my judgment of the race itself if I did judge it based on only what I know right now.

I don't ever remember the devs saying anything in regards to the Au Ra's height.

Succubus-like, not actual succubus. To be a succubus you just have to be good looking enough to lure your targets to give you energy. But! To each their own :)

I can get the height difference thing though. Some people are uncomfortable with it and I understand. For me I'm 5'2" in a family where the average height is 5'6" or taller. Very heavy German heritage area so that height difference you see in the picture is actually very normal for people like me in my area. I'm sorry the Au Ra aren't what you're looking for though :( Hopefully whatever the next race is will cater to the less cutesy side of things.

But theres a massive difference being 5'2 and your romantic partner begin 7'2. Now imagine a whole race like that, especially when the female of the race are humanly idenfiably of apperance of a 15 year old japanese idol member.

I imagine they would find it wierd that Hyur's heigh can be so close together. It is normal for Au Ra, they won't find it wierd.

I dated a guy who was 6'3". And his brother and father were 6'7" each. I'm well aware of the difficulties and looks you get with that much of a height difference. This sort of height difference is far more common than you think. And to be fair just about all the females in this game tend to look in their teens with the exception of highlander hyurs and the Roegs. And even then, you can very easily make them look "baby doll" cute in the creator. Lalafells can look like toddlers, the whole lot of 'em.

So no, this height difference thing really doesn't bug me because I live it :) But again, I can see why it would bug other people if where you live this much of a height difference isn't normal.

So it would seem that we cannot choose the color of their horns and scales.
