That ... has me ... shocked ... too ... lol.. SE sure knows how to drive the comunity insane xD
For real though... I dont think Archer will be a Bard!!.. not that theres anything wrong with BRD but .. I mean.. ARC is a heavy DD class.... xD
Herm..So...So..Either bards get bows or great axes.
What do?
A singing minstrel carrying a two handed axe...
I would probably skip that show.
The translation is most likely not 100% accurate. There is still one "job" missing. So most likely ARC will be Ranger and MRD will be Warrior and i would guess BRD would come from a class not developed yet namely Archanist. The reason I say this is because of the buffing nature that the "hooded figure"/GM had when visiting. Unless..... they don't intend Bard to be a buffer in ffxiv.
Where is evidence that archer would get bard. Why wouldn't it just get ranger, give them more enfeebling arrows blah blah. Bard is mentioned in Uldah's opening cutscene so is songtress. Lore wise I could see bard being another class and Singer/Songtress would be a job off of this. It really doesn't make sense that bard= archer. This is such a logical misstep. If you are leveling archer thinking it will get bard , and it doesn't I will not feel bad for you at all.
Bards Description: "Lull the fiends to a false sense of safety with their songs, while the fiends enjoy the songs, they turn their instruments to skull splitting axes! and leaving no witnesses to their magical concerts. Even though they are called bards, no one seems to recall what their songs are like"
Of course no one remembers! they are dead! with their skulls split open! D:
scary.
This is very perplexing.
Hype-new-class-that-becomes-bard-being-added-in-1.18 go!
Can anyone confirm the validity of the source?
