About the EU campaign for maid outfit and fat chocobo

Here's hoping they open up a fresh Amazon promotion for as much as Europe as possible. Especially here in the UK since that magazine promotion was far too spread out and clunky.

Looking at the promotion rules, it simply states that the promotion doesn't count when buying from third party sellers on the amazon marketplace.

Sucks that you can only buy from the french shop with a credit card, though. Credit cards are far less popular here, I don't know one person that even has one.

Well I don't know the site very well so it might be something obvious but yeah, no third party allowed, only items sold and shipped by amazon, I guess it has something to do with them hosting other sellers shops too, you can choose your seller while clicking on the item you want i think

Paysafe Cards, cash on delivery, Purchase on account and Paypal for stuff outside of the country.

After asking a friend of mine, he told me that the NA Amazon promotion had the same rule, so it's safe to assume that it's just anything that's sold and shipped by Amazon.

While not directed at me, credit cards aren't all that popular around here either. I always use iDeal (a Dutch internet banking service) when buying on Dutch webstores, and Paypal when buying things outside the country.
I do have a backup debit card that I can use when there's no paypal option, but I leave that as a last resort, as it takes a while to transfer money onto it.

That sounds so nice, here in France you have no choice but to use a credit card or an e-card if your bank gives you that option :/

I am happy for the French players that they get another chance to get the codes and its even something nice like Amazon..but really SE, how about first making at least one campaign for each of the promised countries and after that introduce more campaigns..really thats just mean for every other country that is waiting.

This one even has a lodestone post..the other magazine deal still does not have their post. *sigh*

No its not for "all EU".
They said Germany/Austria/Swiss and Netherlands would get their own promotion but so far nothing. Except for Netherlands who got the PU promo (but we still dont know if its indeed the Maid DLC one and no article on the loadstone for whatever reason).
Of course, in theory most EU players could buy from amazon.fr but I for example can't since I dont have a credit card (like a lot of people who live in my country), so there is that.
The lack of information and the communication just sucks imo.

Navigating through Amazon.fr ... is there a way to see which item is even eligible for the promotion? Would game/PSN/e-shop/whatever codes be eligible?

Most PC "accesories" are listed as computer part, not gaming, PC MOUSE, KEYBOARDS and HEADSET do NOT count.

Than they hopefully would have posted a post in every language on the lodestone. English is the language that is understood by a lot of countries in Europe so having something for whole of EU in French would be kinda strange, since the post is in French an the Amazon site too. I would not even know what the text means and I am probably not alone in this and even with some kind of translator I would not want to make a purchase from a site where I dont even understand the language. And like some said, having a credit card is not that common in a lot of countries. I mean in Germany we can pay before we can get the delivery and later it will just directly take the money from a account if someone wants that.

Look for the text 'Expédié et vendu par Amazon.' near the price at the top. There are three different types of sales you'll see normally - sold and fulfilled by Amazon (correct!), sold by ___ and fulfilled by Amazon (not correct) or sold and fulfilled by ___ (not correct). You can also click into the price offers and make sure you buy the version which has Amazon's logo under 'Informations sur le vendeur'.

I'm french, so just tested at least this with a W** timecard. It seems to work as I have the message stating I'll get a bonus code with it.

The rules stated by amazon on their website are :

SE cant you at least tell us about the content of the other missing campaigns? You could just write that country X will get another magazine deal or something like that but since this French deal will only last till beginning of November it would be nice to know about the others so that we could order from the French campaign if we see that the other campaigns are not that good...Now its either buy something from a site that you dont understand (if you have a credit card) and hope that everything will be alright, or wait for new information about other campaigns, which could be bad thus not getting any items..

I just bought gravity rush for ps4

I ordered the game from Amazon.FR, but when I see the receipt, it says the vendor is Amazon EU (It showed FR on the vendor list when I picked it). I got no information about the FFXIV codes and I am trying to contact them, but I see no telephone number and my french is merde.

Can someone please help me?

Amazon FR is part of Amazon EU, that's fine. You can contact them and speak to them in English; they have English speaking support agents so they can respond to you in English by email if nobody on the live chat is available with English skills (Amazon FR/DE/IT/ES/UK are all connected and I'm always contacting them in the incorrect language by mistake). Just send them the link to the offer and your order number and write a very simple question.

This is sad. 2 campaigns for france, but still no campaign for germany. WTF SE?

I guess the only way to get those codes is the good old "proxy+credit card"-method ...

Here in France some banks offer a e-card service wich emulate a new card number at every transaction for a precise amount of money don't they do this in Germany ?
It must be so nice to have the option to pay in cash when delivered, here it's always the "you won't pay us !" politic, it's so annoying -_-

Did you make sure the seller is amazon ? (by choosing it amoung all the seller when you have to choose between "new" game or used items)
Sometimes you don't have to choose but if there is multiple seller you might want to make sure it's amazon you picked ^^"

When the UK campaign started, I was afraid of my friend in France not being able to find the magazine in his small town if the fr version comes in a similar way. So I bought all 3 magazines from ebay and got them shipped to Asia for about 60€ in total (10€ magazine+10€ shipping each). Till now GamesMaster have not yet replied to my email for the fat chocobo code.

Wondering if I'd really get a reply, I decided to participate again this time in this Amazon campaign. Bought a game time card (selling by Amazon) for 23€ as soon as the campaign started. I checked carefully if the digital things work but there's no mention at all on Amazon's site. Now I've already spent about 83€ on all this bloody campaign and still have not yet received my fat white chocobo.

So, the NA promo was a mistake with people getting their codes for free, basically? And yet here were people telling us EU players to shut up because that's "what Amazon normally does". And then EU got shafted. GG

When did you email GamesMaster? I was in a similar position, as I live in Japan but have an EU account. Bought and had all of them shipped to me here. Well, I at least tried to. The first one arrived a month after ordering, the second never turned up so after a month they sent out a new one which also took a month to get here and the third, despite buying it minutes after it being released was never dispatched. Ended up having a friend buy the magazine and send out the codes to me (luckily he was able to find one still in the shops!). I only got all of my codes together a few weeks ago but I got my white chocobo a couple of days ago. Just takes them a while to respond. I'd say if it has been more than a few weeks to send them another email about it.
