This thread is super silly.
This is one of the best bits of news yet, and of course the same old crowd is loling along trying to rain on the enhancement parade.

Since SE made up its mind lets talk about my never to be implemented quiver idea :D :D
Quivers have stats like size, accessibility (speed), and general enchantments (Dexterity, add damage type, bla bla)
You then purchase a stack of infinite arrows (referred to as a stack of ____ (name)). After which you place that stack of arrows into a quiver, the size of the quiver will determine how many stacks you can put in it.
So on the fly you can choose to draw a fire arrow, poison arrow, or a general high white damage arrow.
(infinite stack, so the stack will never die -may not change the stack of arrows equipped in the quiver during combat).
And then lets talk about grass because this thread doesnt really mean anything lol.
Well that sucks for carpenters. But eh, it's not like we didn't see this coming a mile away.
I think they should, because if you one hand you will buy a shield. (and you can meld ~200 hp/mp onto a shield) + other stats. Grips where implemented because of OP duel wield weren't they? It's been a while.
Btw, I always confuse our posts up when scanning quickly. We look so alike by profile photo lol.
Since the old Scavenge ability was brought up...
It never got back any ammo at all. It gave you a buff that essentially acted like a free arrow.
Unfortunately the arrow it acted like was a Warped Arrow.
Me too. I always stop and think "wait, I never said that" lol
But yeah, I think they did finally introduce grips in XI because of the dual wield situation. Even after they introduced the 2h buffs that brought an end to the "loldrg" days, it still was a bit unbalanced. Unless you were sam, of course.
loldrg.. :P
Also in relation to this game, if you can literally duel wield two different weapons then ninjas can meld onto both items with materia usually only allowed in one. I imagine that they might make all ninja weapons come in a set, would feel less ninja-ey though.
