why are people saying they're too short? when hrothgar/viera were revealed, they were shown at base (50) height

I still get a chuckle that at 6' flat I can't make a male Hyur the same height as me.

Like, there is a .6 of an inch gap between a tall midlander and a short highlander, and I fall right in the middle of it.

Edit: And for the record, I skew tall where I am from.

No need to go that far tho lol having preferences is fine x) I mean i saw ppl wanting smol bunnies a lot because they don't like the fact that no race has taller females.
In the end the best thing is to let the developers do what they want and not trying force them.
And lets be honnest, a lot of ppl here (maybe me too) won't pick or won't stay viera when they'll get sick of not getting new haircuts. Even if viera get some, they won't have as mutch as others.
At best we will get some updates with 1 or 2 haircuts adapted to viera (that would be perfect tbh!) but certainly not everything at once.

The male viera head does seem a little bigger, so the scaling might be a tad bit off. If this is the case, assume he's a little smaller than what the picture shows.

I made another height comparison but this time with female viera and male midlander.

Assuming the male viera in the trailer is at 50% height, the males and females should pretty much be the same height. (and also assuming the male viera don't have a wider height range.)

That's a pretty good one, the exact frame I used on mine, and seems like having a shorter character allows for a more accurate matching of the scene.

Now I'm really curious about how it would look with a min height female viera, but It seems like all the females doing comparisons are max height.

We are getting closer and closer to guessing their height thanks to the many comparisons, we will not know the exact values until we get the benchmark tho, or Yoshi gives them, looking at you devs, say something! <.<

We're getting closer for sure. And yeah, I'd like to see it compared to min height female viera too.

I personally want the male viera to be around the female viera height or somewhat taller to fill the "height hole" between male miqo'te and male elezen in terms of anime bishiness, because midlander hyur are jack of all trades on the twink to hunk scale and highlander are the beefcake/himbo option. That being said, I think a drastic difference between 0 height and 100 height male viera would be cute.
