Btw, i would see the "famous" Shepherd class perfect to tame and use these mounts. But i doubt they'll put that class in 1.20b..

This is bound to happen. I guess I can understand why people might be annoyed, but I'm of the opinion that they should distinguish each company from each other, and giving people different mounts would be a pretty mild, non-game breaking way of doing that. So I say go for it!

Yep, even though the original plan was to release classes in patches (kind of like what they did with Summoner in XI) it would have been nice.

There has always been some form of comical relief in a Final Fantasy, rather if it seems far-fetched or not, why does this one in particular bother you?

Also, I wouldn't say that it doesn't fit into the game. As a world of fiction, the developers could add The Incredible Hulk as a mount if they want to.
