Not going to deal with quotes while on my phone, so quick points:
1. The implication that Cleric Stance was created just for solo play is unsupportable. Even if it weren't...that was then; this is now. Original intention dating back 2+ years is irrelevant.
2. That dev commentary on how DPS minimums are calculated for end-game raids needs not to be trotted out for the purpose of poo-pooing CS as a legitimate tool in party play; it's a complete misrepresentation of the article.
3. Once again, DPS provided by other roles has very little to do with healer DPS expectation. Healers are only "making up" for a party's lacking of DPS when in raids where the group is progressing while under the expected minimum ilvl. In every other way they are simply doing their jobs by attacking when heals aren't needed. If they're really good, they time their heals and buffs correctly to maximize DPS uptime.
