Well the moogle mount and the magitek ones are the few mounts I dont have because I cant accept those prices, especially with the moogle mount. Even if its a two-seater, its still a digital good and thus only costs them the first time its created. I would kinda assume that even with a price of 10 € per mount they would get the costs covered quite fast and at the same time sell a lot more. If the cloud is around the price of the moogle mount than I will just wait and hope for a sale, otherwise its still too expensive for a digital item.

(And I am still kinda uh pissed that a simple wand scroll will cost 43€ at the Frankfurt Fanfest...I do question if this is truly for us fans or if this is just a way to get even more money...but thats going of topic)

If its around the price of sleipnir I still will wait some time since the fanfest kinda hurts my purse a lot. :cool:
At least I am kinda happy that we will get the chance to buy those items and hope that there will be less exclusive stuff along the way. (Hope dies last right?)

Whereas Europe got given the Butler/Maid outfits, there are countries, including mine who did not have the promotion. While it is not region locked by traditional means, it was still unavailable for a lot of European players. And now the promotion is over completely, there's no hope for people in these countries that we will get it. I do not mind paying for it on the Mogstation at a reduced price in the future, but it still left me feeling quite 'eh' about the whole situation.

My first time seeing some of these. The angel and demon sets and bardings look great! I'd like to see those added the most. The backflip emote would be fun too.

I agree that region locked content is meh, but doesn't the continental Asian version has its own publisher besides Square Enix? That is actually a very good reason for those servers to have exclusive items, the majority of which may never grace the global version with their presence.

With how the business world works, there could be thousands of reasons why.

Just based on observations, I think the Chinese/Korean/etc publishers are paying Square to develop these items for their versions, with a contract that says it has to be exclusive, or exclusivity for X amount of time to their region. Like how Microsoft/Sony pay for all their 'exclusive dlc'/'play it here first' rights nowadays, but taken to an international level. Whether I'm right or not, It's my own opinion the reason there's this exclusivity on these items has financial reasons behind it.

I have the same theory. Especially since China and Korea are 'locked' markets, SE no doubt has to offer something to make them look appealing to host in such a closed territory. The exclusive items, which have all been, largely, items put into the Cash shop, no doubt provide this as they give the company hosting the game in those countries the boon of making money off of microtransations.
